The group walk down the river as they all walk volcanion and magearna home
Sid: are we there yet?
Volcanion: no. Not yet
Kimia: we'd go a lot faster if you'd join us volcanion
Volcanion; why would I wanna ride something humans made?
Eventually they make it to a large pink flower bed that Bonnie spots
Bonnie: oh! So beautiful!
On the far side of the field a bull black rhinoceros races through the forest with a bullet Mark on his left shoulder and a net on his horn and neck

The group then hear his calls for help
Rhino: help! Poachers! I've been shot!
The look to see the rhino as it shows down and Steven immediately recognizes him
Steven: I know that rhino! That's thunder horn!
They all head to thunder horn as he stops and collapses on his side with Steven and kimia coming to his aid

Kimia: it's okay. You'll be okay. Let me just get this off you
Steven: thunder horn, are you okay? What happened?
Thunder horn: (pant)...they shot me...(pant) at the river...(pant) they were trying to, take my horn (pant) but I ran away
Kimia helps take the net off thunder horn as the others catch up
Volcanion: this rhino is badly injured
Steven couldn't even believe it. He knew that there were animals were being hunted in their natural habitat for ivory of food, but he didn't think people in the Pokémon islands hunted and poached either. It's even worse since rhinos were some of the most critically endangered species with their numbers dropping every year because of human poaching for their horns. It was thanks to him and his friends that some endangered animal species were taken off the critically endangered list and moved to vulnerability with some species like rhinos to slowly heal and increase in numbers again, but even still, it broke his heart that people in the Pokémon islands had poachers like back on the mainland
