It's been a while since the incident with Selah, but since then, she's been sending pictures of herself to me, while I gave her tips.

It's become so frequent to the point where it's normal for us.

She also became more truthful, as she'd tell me that one day she'll "display" herself in front of me and in person, which I was... Sadly...? Excited for.

But today, mom needs my help.

I chuckle thinking it's probably another one of her big shops, so I put on my shoes at the front door and grab my jacket

Himari: "Where are you going?"

Y/N: "To the store, mom needs my help. Let Selah and Mika know I left please."

Himari: "Okay, be safe."

Y/N: "Yup."

I leave the house, as I know I only need to walk a couple of blocks to reach the store.

As I stroll down the sidewalk, I come across the cafe Kusu and I used to visit.

Y/N: "Come to think of it, she wanted me to visit her here last week... I wonder why."

I null over any and every thought of her and continue to walk to the store.

Eventually, I reach the front of the store as I enter through the automatic sliding doors.

I text mom asking her where she is, and she tells me she's by the vegetable stand.

I walk over to the stand and stop dead in my tracks.

Lisa looks up at me and waves.

The combination of the bright lights in the store and just the vibe, in general, made me not only notice the changes mom made to herself but also admire them.

Y/N: "Wow mom, you look great!"

Lisa: "Really? I just got contacts and a hairdo..."

Y/N: "Yeah! You look twenty years younger! I'm sorry I didn't notice before!"
