Ashton and I put the house up for sale a week ago because our new house was finished, way ahead of schedule. Ashton and I weren't rushing to move in yet because we hadn't sold the house yet. Today while I was in the middle of teaching, I got a phone call from our realtor, telling me someone bought our house at the full asking price and that we have to be out by Sunday. So, right after school let out, I rushed home to find an equally excited, yet stressed, Ashton.

After Ashton and I talked about how quickly this was all happening, we discussed our game plan. So now, Ashton and I are at the store getting packing boxes and plastic tubs to begin packing and moving,

"I never realized how much more we're going to have to do because we've got two people's worth of stuff to move" Ashton laughed. I nodded. The last time either of us moved, we were just moving ourselves. Now with double the people, you have double the stuff,

"I'm just saying, you definitely have more stuff than I do" I claimed,

"That's because of the music stuff" Ashton rolled his eyes as we turned down the storage aisle at Target,

"I'm excluding the music stuff. You literally have more stuff in the closet than I do. You literally have double the amount of shoes that I have" I laughed. Ashton playfully rolled his eyes and pulled our cart to a stop in front of the plastic bins,

"How many?" he questioned,

"Maybe three or four" I shrugged, "I want to put all our clothes on them. We can put our shoes in our suitcases"

Ashton nodded and grabbed four of the bins and lids.

We grabbed a few more things then we checked out and got back in the truck,

"Want to grab some dinner?" Ashton asked as he backed out of the parking spot,

"That's fine. Can we just do something simple tho?" I asked, taking his hand once he was driving,

"Chipotle?"

I happily nodded.

We decided we wanted to eat inside, so we quickly parked and headed in, getting in line,

"I feel like we haven't been here in forever" I laughed as I leaned back against Ashton as we waited in line. It was actually quite busy in here,

"I know" Ashton agreed, letting his arms wrap around me, "There's not gonna be one that close to the new house. This will be the closest one"

"It's only like ten minutes out of the way. It's not too bad" I shrugged. Ashton nodded and kissed my head before letting go so we could order.

Once we had our food, we took a seat at a table outside. It wasn't too hot or cold so it was comfortable.

"This is nice" Ashton spoke, "A little date before we go home and bury ourselves with packing"

"I can't believe they gave us two days to move out" I shook my head,

"At least we sold the house" Ashton chuckled,

"And we're getting our married life started, just a little before we actually get married"

Ashton grinned and grabbed my hand,

"We should finish eating so we can pack and get moving"

After getting home, it was full packing mode. We decided to pack everything except Ashton's music stuff. Tomorrow the boys were going to come over and help him. There's way too much stuff and I wouldn't be any help because I don't know how to work any of it.

By 1:00 in the morning, we had finished everything except for our bedroom,

"Why don't you get some sleep, honey? I can finish this up" Ashton spoke as we tiredly walked into our room,

"No Ash. I'm fine" I assured. He sighed but nodded and pecked my lips.

I grabbed a plastic bin and headed to our dresser,

"You can get the clothes in the closet" I called. Ashton snorted and headed that way.

It didn't even take me ten minutes to do the dresser considering we barely keep anything in there anyway. It's just underwear, my bras, and a bunch of hoodies, sweatpants, and shorts. Most of our things are in the closet anyway. Ashton and I both have a fear of wrinkled clothes, so we hang everything up to prevent that as much as possible.

I headed over to the closet and sat down next to Ashton who was folding things and strategically placing them in the bin,

"Babe" I laughed, "You're folding so slow"

"Hey" he whined,

"How about you hand me the clothes and I'll fold them and put them in here" I suggested. Ashton nodded and got off the floor and started handing me things. Once he took them off the hanger, he put the hanger in the cardboard box we designated for them.

By the time we had completely finished, it was almost 3:00 in the morning,

"What time are our friends coming over to help?" I asked with a yawn, crawling in our bare bed next to Ashton,

"I told them noon" Ashton yawned as well, "So we can sleep for a few hours"

I nodded and cuddled into his side. Ashton pulled the blanket up over us. We had already packed up the stuff that was on our bed so we just had the blanket. Luckily Ashton is like a heater so I will stay warm,

"I can't believe we move tomorrow" Ashton whispered, lips pressed against my head,

"I know. I'm so ready"

"Me too honey. Me too" Ashton spoke, "I'm so ready to get our life truly together started"
