"Ready to go home?" Ashton smiled, walking back in the room after signing release papers and carrying Jaxtyn's carseat,
"Yeah. Just need to get dressed" I nodded, "I might need some help"
"Of course honey" Ashton spoke, walking towards the bed and sitting down, looking at Jaxtyn who was dressed and sound asleep,
"He's perfect" I smiled, my hand rubbing Ashton's arm,
"He is" he smiled then turned to me, "Let's get you up"
He helped me up and grabbed my clothes, helping me get dressed. I'm still extremely sore and it hurts to move,
"You okay?" he asked once we were done. I nodded and turned around to fold up my blanket, but Ashton stopped me and did it himself.
Once we had everything ready and Jaxtyn and I were checked out, we headed to the car. I got in the backseat with Jaxtyn as Ashton got in the drivers seat,
"Everything okay?" Ashton asked as he very slowly turned on the road,
"Everything is fine. He's sleeping" I smiled, glancing at my baby,
"I think our friends are at our house to meet Jaxtyn. I can tell them to leave if you want" he told me,
"No it's okay. I know their excited. I just wish your mom would be able to meet him first"
"Hopefully we can get her out here soon" Ashton glanced back.

As we pulled up to our house, all our friends were there like Ashton said. Ashton easily pulled into the garage and got out, opening the back door. He grabbed Jaxtyn and I slid out, making Ashton put a hand on my back and guide me inside.
As soon as we walked in, our friends gasped. I smiled and Ashton led me to take a seat then sat Jaxtyn's carrier down and gently pulled him out of it.
Everything's faces softened seeing our baby,
"Everyone, meet Jaxtyn" Ashton smiled, "And since he happens to share a birthday with a certain person, I think Calum gets to hold him first"
Calum grinned as Jaxtyn was placed in his arms,
"He's so little" Calum laughed, "Hi buddy"
Ashton and I looked at each other with the biggest smiles,
"Did everything go okay with labor and stuff?" Sierra asked, making me laugh,
"I ended up having a c-section because I pushed for forever and nothing happened" I told them,
"How are you feeling?" Crystal asked,
"Pain and soreness" I shrugged,
"If you want us to leave so you can relax, please say so" Michael spoke as he now held Jaxtyn,
"I'm okay" I promised. Ashton sent me a look to make sure, making me nod,
"He's absolutely amazing you two" Crystal spoke, taking Jaxtyn from Michael, "Looks just like Ashton"
"Oh I know" I smiled.

Our friends only stayed for another hour before they left to give us space. Ashton was making him and I some dinner while I sat on the couch feeding Jaxtyn from one boob and using a pump for the other,
"Ash?" I called out,
"Yeah honey? You okay?" He spoke,
"Can you come take the pump?"
I heard him walk over and I got it off and gave it to him. I knew I didn't need to tell him what to do because he's watched every parenting video and did his own research on breastfeeding and pumping to make sure he could help.
But before he left, he left his finger graze Jaxtyn's cheek,
"I can't believe we made him" he smiled, "This is honestly all crazy"
"Yeah" I hummed,
"I never thought I'd even make it to the point that I'd have kids" he whispered. My heart broke. I know about his mental health and we've talked about everything,
"I'm glad you did baby. I couldn't imagine life or being a parent without you"
Ashton kissed my cheek then returned to the kitchen.
Jaxtyn finished up and I cradled him carefully. He was in a milk drunk phase and on the edge of sleep.
I quickly changed his diaper and got him into some pajamas before swaddling him and laying him in the bassinet that was in the living room.
Once he was okay, I walked into the kitchen and lightly hugged Ashton. My stomach is still super sore so it wasn't the best hug,
"He's asleep" I whispered,
"Then let's eat and take showers while he's sleeping then relax for a bit before we need to wake him up to eat" Ashton kissed me. I nodded and went and sat at the table, letting Ashton take care of dinner.
He gave me a plate and I started to eat, but I really wasn't all the hungry,
"You okay?" Ashton asked,
"Not that hungry" I shrugged,
"We can save it and warm it up later" he spoke making me nod,
"I'm sorry"
"Nothing to be sorry for" Ashton smiled, "When I get done, I'll help you shower before Jax wakes up"
I smiled and thanked him then went and wrapped my plate and put it in the fridge before heading to where Jaxtyn was, gazing at his sleeping body. He just looked so peaceful.
Ashton snuck up behind me,
"We need to announce his birth. People are already speculating" he whispered,
"Then let's do it"

Later that night, Ashton and I were in our bed and I was feeding Jaxtyn once more.
Ashton's head laid on my shoulder as he watched our son,
"Did we make bottles?" He asked quietly,
"Yes" I laughed, "We've got everything prepared"
Ashton nodded. He's very nervous and very paranoid,
"I would like to feed him tonight though. Not a bottle just to see how it goes and how we can do this" I told him. Ashton nodded and pecked my lips as Jaxtyn unlatched.
Ashton took him from my arms and walked around our room as he rocked him to sleep. Once Jaxtyn was asleep, he laid him in the bassinet and got in bed with me,
