Chapter 12:

"I need someone to talk to"

Wilhelm and Simon had been laying on the hospital bed for about an hour before Simons mom came in out of nowhere and looks at Simon 'What made you think you can sneak out in the middle of the night?' she asks 

Simon looks 'Would you be quiet I just got him to agree to take a nap' he says and gets up 'Lets talk outside so he doesn't wake up.' 

She rolls her eyes walking out with him and looks at him as they stepped outside 

He breathes closing the door softly and looks at his mom 'He almost died and I had to find out from his little sister' he says 'So yes mother I sneaked up I broke another rule for Wilhelm because I fucking love him more than anyone in this world, because he actually cares about me and he doesn't say things he doesn't mean.' Simon says looking at his mom 'Theres a lot that has happened, so where have you been every time I've asked if we can talk and you said later and I'm busy right now?'

Linda looks 'Simon I'm the president I'm sorry I won't always have time' she says 

'No mom you never have time! Never any fucking time I would have loved to tell you I was dating Wilhelm if you weren't the president, or I could have had someone to talk to a few weeks ago when I was raped but again you were too busy to make time for me so I dealt with that on my own' he says in tears 'I hate you!' he yells and walks away 

The whole crowd of people had heard him, and Linda looks around at them before walking away going to find him 

Wilhelm was not sleeping and was awake tearing up after hearing Simon he had no idea and he had been such an asshole to Simon for so many weeks now feeling horrible about it. He got up and changed back into the clothes he was in and walked out of the room

His mom came over 'Wilhelm your staying here' she says 

'Mom nows really not the time, I love Simon back there's nothing you'll ever be able to do about that because he and June are the the only two reasons I lived not for you.' he says to her and walks away thinking to go outside since thats where Simon was likely to be found when upset and saw him sitting on a bench alone.. in the cold he walks over and sits next to him 'I didn't mean to eaves drop on you and your moms conversation, but I heard what you said and I have been treating you like an asshole'

Simon shakes his head 'I deserved it all' he says in tears not being able to stop them starting to cry

Wilhelm hugs him gently and shakes his head 'No you really didn't, you are the best thing that ever happened to me and I was mad but knowing what you went through now.. you must have not been okay at all' he says 

'I wasn't okay' he says in his arms 'I had no one to talk to but I have you back now at least.. and I really don't wanna talk about what you heard' he says 

He nods 'I Wasn't gonna make you talk about it don't worry, I'm here for you from now on and you need to tell me if your hurting or if something happened even if I'm being an asshole I will stop and listen because I will always be here okay?' 

Simon looks at him in tears still and nods kissing his head 'Thank you..' 

Wilhelm smiles 'Your welcome, I love you' he tells him

'I love you too prince asshole'

he giggles 'I deserved that one.' he says and kissed him softly
