Chapter 16:

"Back to reality"

The 2 weeks in Texas were absolutely incredible, something that he really needed just to run away from reality for a bit and be with his friends, sister and boyfriend for the last 2 weeks.

It was until today he was excited to start his days Wilhelm dropped him off last night and then had to go unfortunately, which he understood so he didn't make a big deal about it. He heard his phone go off and picked it up smiling once he saw 'Prince Asshole' on his screen he still hadn't changed it to anything nicer because he still thought the nickname was funny, he picked up and smiled as it was on face time.

'Hey my love, good morning' he says his voice was raspy and he sounded and looked like he had a cold 

Simon made a sad face 'Is my handsome prince sick?' he asks 

Wilhelm smiled 'Just a little, I'll live is what the doctors say' he joked around 

'Well I'd hope you wouldn't die from a little cold' he giggles 

He nods 'That would be one weird way to go, wouldn't it?' he asks 'But I'd never leave you, not till its my time to go'

Simon smiles 'Good, I wanna keep you as long as possible' he says 'Okay imma be a doctor and call as much as I can to check up on you, for now I am putting you on bed rest'

Wilhelm looks 'You know you're not actually my doctor, but I will take orders from you anyways right?' 

'Yes but we all know you will do what I say' he bites his lip 'Take a nap handsome I love you' he says 

He smiles 'I love you too babes, talk to you later' he says hanging up and puts his phone down closing his eyes to take a nap

Simon stands up out of his bed and changed into a black t-shirt and some skinny jeans, he looked in the mirror 'Ugh good enough' he says to himself walking out off his room to go and do some stuff around the White House.

His mom saw him 'Hey love could you get this paper work done?' she asks 

'Yeah sure' he says taking it 'Do you think it's possible to send a get well soon basket to Wilhelm today?' he asks 

She looks 'hmm I'm sure we can arrange for that to happen, todays not too busy so I wanna catch up with you and your sister' she says 

Simon smiles 'Sounds fun' he says and then went to go sit at his moms desk since she wasn't in her office at the moment and started filling out the papers, he usually did this when his mom either didn't wanna do paperwork and knew Simon liked to or when she got busy' it made him smile knowing she let him do it today since she wasn't busy, just had 2 meetings and then was done for the day

Simon had called Wilhelm a couple of times since he last called that morning, but he didn't pick up so he remembered he told him to sleep but just wanted to make sure he was okay so he called June quickly 

'June speaking' she says 

Simon looks 'Can you go to Wilhelms room and peak your head in to see if he's asleep?' 

She nods 'Yeah sure' she says and walked to Wille's room seeing him sound asleep 'He's sleeping like a baby' she says and flipped her camera so he could see 

He smiles 'Okay good, He's not feeling good just wanted to check in thanks June I'll talk to you later' he says 

'Sounds good, Don't worry too much he will sleep the day away I'll make sure to make some soup when he wakes up'

Simon nods 'Alright love ya stay safe' he says before hanging up.

Wilhelm woke up a while later and had Simons hoodie on since he was cold and wanted Simon here with him, He looks around seeing June 'How long have you been in here?' he asks 

June smiles 'Simon asked me to check up on you every now and then, its my 6th check of the day and he decided to send soup over which is still warm and a teddy bear that smells like him' She says 'Ohhhh and don't forget the get well soon basket' she says as it was on his bed, it had tissues, a teddy bear and some treats and a couple of other things

He smiles as he lays there looking at it 'Wait he was here?' he asks 

She shakes her head 'Molly brought it' she says 'Don't worry if he was here, I don't think he would have left until you were better'

'Thats just Simon, he makes sure everyone is okay around him' he says and sits up slowly 'Soup?' he asks 

June hands him the bowl of Simons chicken noodle soup 'And there's an entire pot of it downstairs, and yes I put it in the guest kitchen so no one touches it' she told him 

He smiles 'Thanks' he says and takes a bite 'My favourite soup' he giggles 

The two talked for a while before Wilhelm took another nap wanting to get over the sickness soon

Meanwhile Simon, Sara and his mom hung out for a good little while, it had been a while since they had been able to and they enjoyed every moment
