how it started

8:24AM, 6th August, 2012
Location: Saint Mary's Highschool
{ idk if that's a real place but for the sake of the story it is }

William POV

'shit, I'm so late.. 3rd time this week, I'm so fucked.. did I bring my books with me?' The boy quickly reached into his backpack to check. 'yes I did, awesome.. I'm so hungry too.. i didn't get any breakfast before i left, such an idiot.' His stomach grumbled which made him groan quietly. 'shut up, stop growling' he was snapped out of his thoughts when a blonde-haired girl bumped into him.

"I'm so sorry! Are you alright?"
"Why are you sorry, I should've been looking where I was going"
"No it's okay, I'm just in a massive rush to get to my class and stuff so you know how it is.."
"Tell me about it, I have French all the way on the other side of the building."

silence fell over the conversation before the girl timidly extended her arm to him. "Um, I'm Kaitlin, Kaitlin Ama. You might have seen me on the walls or in the newspaper.. I'm part of the school music & drama club." the boy felt a smile tug at his face as he connected his hand with hers and shook it. "William, William Gold. It's good to meet you Kaitlin."

11AM, 4th February, 2015
Location: Epiphany Square
{ again, idk if it's real, but it is now }

William POV

"WILL, PUT ME DOWN YOU BEANSTALK MOTHERFUCKER"
"I thought you were complaining about how short you were?"
"THAT DOESN'T MEAN I WANT YOU TO THROW ME OVER YOUR SHOULDER"
William looked around at all the people staring at them and eventually decided it was probably a good idea to put her down, so he did, just very aggressively onto the ground.
"Your an ass."
"You love me."
"Eat shit."
"What the fuck"
The girl pulled his beanie over his eyes and ran off somewhere in the shopping centre, you wouldn't think they were semi-adults.

3PM, 19th December, 2019
Location: Will's Bedroom
{ some things might not be genuinely accurate but for the sake of the story, yk how it be ;)) }

William's POV

The man glanced at his computer and sighed softly, recently he had been getting into YouTube and Twitch and was now waiting to start his first stream, needless to say he was extremely nervous, like, literally could feel clothes sticking to him he was that sweaty type of nervous. The man reached for his bottle of water and took a deep breath. 'Okay Wil, you got this.' He hovered his mouse over the 'go live' button and pressed it...

A few hours passed and he reached about 35 viewers for his first stream which he was super excited about, he ended his stream and laid back into his chair, 'that wasn't so bad..', his eyes wandered the room as she came across his cork board full of pictures, his lips upturning into a smile as he saw a photo of himself and Kaitlin, she had recently gone to university for music and they hadn't been in contact very much, she was extremely talented and he didn't want to hold her back from that so he they agreed that whenever she had free time she would send a text or call him, otherwise he wouldn't bug her.. however it was now 3 weeks down the line and he hadn't heard off her at all.. oh well..

1AM, 1st March, 2021
Location: Will's Bedroom

William's POV:

William looked at his phone and smiled, he had recently followed this new artist, from England and her music was amazing, he reminded him of someone but he couldn't quite figure out who, regardless he loved listening to her music and watching her vlogs on YouTube, they had about the same amount of fame, she had a little bit more than him. Part of him wanted to reach out to her, the other part thought he would be ignored, either way, he tapped onto the Twitter app, clicked her profile and went straight to the DMs, he typed his message out about 10 times before finally sending it.

'That was okay right?' Before he has the chance, he put his phone face down on the desk and started up his stream. "Hello Chat! Today we are playing rust with non other than TommyInnit."

About 4 hours went by and he finally ended stream, he left his bedroom and changed into some comfier clothes to sleep in, got something to drink, grabbed his phone off his desk and threw it onto his bed, soon following after it. He got under the covers and absorbed the warmth from his bed sheets before turning his phone on, a notification sticking out to him.
