"These pancakes are amazing, oh my gosh", she said in excitement as she place one slice into her mouth.
"Thank you", I replied with the brightest smile on my face. I don't think Imani knows how much I love her. A year ago I wouldn't even smile at anyone, I wouldn't do cooking or the crazy love shit I am doing with Imani. I'd kill for this beautiful black woman in front of me.
"You should cook more".
"The only people I'll cook for are you and our 5 kids", she began to choke on the pancake she was eating. I quickly got up and gave her water as I slowly rub and pat her back.

"Did you just say 5 kids?" crazy right, but yeah I want 5 little mixed babies running around our house.
"Yes, is there an issue?"
"Yes, Kane do you hear yourself, 5 kids", does she not want kids? Maybe I'm rushing this.

"4", she replied.
"Then four it is mi amore", she's not the only one who knows mind tricks.
"Wait no, Kane you tricked me I wasn't say-", I cut her off.
"I hope we get a daughter first, I'll name her Ha-Joon".
"No you won't and we won't have a girl first. She needs older brothers to protect her".
"True but our baby girl Ha-Joon, will be able to protect herself and her brothers, because she has a strong, beautiful amazing mom and a handsome, strong amazing dad", I know we're amazing together.
"Still, Ha-Joon should have older brothers".
"So you agree that we should name her Ha-Joon?"
"No".
"Why not?"
"Because I think we should name her Nabi".
"Butterfly, Ok I like it".
"Great, so Nabi will have older brothers."
"Fine. OMG!, we could have 2 daughters and name them Nabi and Ha-Joon. I'm a genius".
"OMG Kane", she rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Kim Ha-Joon and Kim Nabi, omg we'll be amazing parents", I'm so excited.
"Kane, go get dressed".
"Wait, what will we name our sons, gosh this is too much".
