Gambling

It was a Friday afternoon when Tyler Joseph woke up. His friends daughter was having a birthday party in a month and Tyler wanted to get her something special. Tyler was a very poor man and was desperate for money, even if it was a coin, he would do anything to get what he needed, even if he had to fight someone or make bets for it.
"Time for breakfast" Tyler whispered to himself as he walked downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a waffle box to see that he only had one waffle left in the box.
"Ugh" Tyler groaned as he put on his jacket and walked over to the store.
When Tyler got to the store he went straight to waffle section and grabbed some from the fridge and went to the front desk
"What can I do for you" a voice called to Tyler as he turned towards him
"Are you the cashier?" Tyler asked as he looked towards the voice that called him
It was a women in a black dress, brown hair, brown eyes and paper white teeth
"Yes, I happen to be the cashier, I just got this job, my name is Debby" the girl said as she pointed to her name tag on her chest as Tyler looked at it and nodded
"Nice" Tyler said, not interested in what she was saying, putting down the waffles on the table as he pulled out five dollars
"That will be 4.99" Debby said as she scanned it and looked at him
"Perfect" Tyler said as he looked down and put the five dollar bill on the counter and slides it over to her with a slight frown on his face
Tyler hated to lose his money, his money was more important to him than most things in life
"Do you need the receipt?" Debby said as she grabbed the five dollar bill and put it into her wallet.
"No thank you, I'm good" Tyler said as he picked up the waffles and walked out the door
"Have a good day, sir" Debby said as she watched him walk out the door
"You too" Tyler said, raising his voice loud enough for her to hear him
"That sucks" Tyler said as he looked at the waffles, still thinking of the money he lost
Tyler decided to go back to the store and looked around for money winning games
"Was there a problem, sir?" the voice called to him again
"Do you know anywhere where I can win money?" Tyler asked, looking at her
"You can make bets with your friends or gamble at casinos" Debby said, looking at him
"Is there any game where I don't have a chance of loosing money?" Tyler asked, looking at her in the eyes
"You could take these" Debby said as she pulled out three scratch and wins and put in on the table in front of Tyler
Tyler's eyes went straight into the money rewards
"you can win up to one thousand dollars?" Tyler said as he picked them up and looked at them as he thought about everything he could buy for a while
"That's correct, you win something by getting three numbers on each square" Debby said, crossing her arms and smiling a bit
"What happens if I get the three numbers" Tyler asked, looking at her
"You can win money by the number that is on it, but the three numbers have to be on the same card" Debby explained
"I'll take it, thank you" Tyler said as he grabbed them carefully and began walking out the door
"Or you could compete in the squid games" Debby said as she grabbed her wallet and flipped through her money
"I don't think I'll need to be playing any more games, with these in my sight" Tyler said as he quickly shoved them into his pocket
"You could win one billion dollars" Debby said as her voice went high
"What?" Tyler said as he looked back at her and stopped in his tracks, thinking about what he had just heard
"You can win one billion dollars from winning the squid games" Debby said as she smiled, looking at him as he walked back over to the table
"Well, how do I get in?" Tyler said as he looked at her
"I can't say much about it, just think about it, it's very dangerous and very challenging" Debby said, looking at him
Tyler loves to be challenged, he loved to show off once he wins the challenge and will talk about it constantly
"Oh, I'll take a challenge, alright" Tyler said as he narrowed his eyes and smiles at her
"Perfect" Debby said as she walked over to him and looked at him and pulled out two paper folded tiles
"What are those?" Tyler said as she took his hand and gave him one and put hers down in the ground
"Don't ask questions, just try to flip the side over with your paper by throwing it on top of mine" She said as she stood back, watching him from a far
