"Okay then" Tyler said as he threw his paper down on top of hers
The paper didn't flip over
"Okay, what happens n-" Tyler tried to ask before Debby slapped his cheek lightly, but enough for it to hurt a bit
"Hey! What was that for?" Tyler said as he raised his hand, trying to hit her back
Debby caught his hand and looked at him
"Let me go, you jerk" Tyler said as Debby gripped his hand harder
"Ow, okay, okay, okay!" Tyler said as Debby looked him in the eyes
"That's the way this game works" Debby said, smiling a bit
"You get to slap me? That seems unfair" Tyler said as he looked back at her
"You get ten thousand dollars in return, once you flip my card over" Debby said as she let go of his hand
"You promise?" Tyler said as he looked at his hand and then looked back at her
"I promise you, Tyler" Debby said as she smiles at him
"How do you know my name?" Tyler said, backing up a bit
Debby laughed and pointed to his shirt
"Right" Tyler said as he looked down at his shirt
His shirt had handwriting on it that said his name so everyone would know it, but he sometimes forgot that it was even there
Tyler Joseph was the name written on his shirt
"Well, are we gonna play or what?" Debby asked as she picked up his paper and gave it back to him with a slight smile
"Oh, we're gonna play alright" Tyler said as he grabbed the paper from her hand and threw it down again, watching as her paper moves further away from his card
Debby chuckled and picked up his card and slapped him lightly again
"Does your card ever flip over?" Tyler said as he took his card back from her hands
"Yes it does, you just need to be careful on how light or how strong you throw you paper down on mine" Debby said as she stood beside him, looking at him
"How come?" Tyler said as he looked at his card in his hand and then at her card
"You don't wanna get slapped again, do you?" Debby said as she showed him her hand with a slight smile
"No" Tyler said as he looked at her hand and then looked back at her card
"I didn't think so" Debby said as she chuckled at him and watched from a far again
Tyler through down his paper roughly and watched as his paper flipped hers over for a second and then flip back over
"Does that count?" Tyler asked, looking at her, hoping she would say yes
"It needs to stay flipped over on the ground" Debby said as she walked over to him and slapped him with more force
"Ouch! You did it harder than last time!" Tyler said as he looked at her, holding his cheek a bit
"Your getting better, you better get flipping, the store closes soon" Debby said, teasing him as she watched him pick his paper back up
Tyler stood there for a minute, thinking to himself
"I can't use to much force, but I can't use such little force" Tyler thought to himself
"Are you giving up so soon?" Debby asked, looking at him as she held her hand out to grab the paper from his hand, teasing him even more
"I don't give up when it comes to money" Tyler said as he looked at her and slammed his paper down
Her paper wouldn't flip over for a while
"It's been like ten minutes, I'm pretty sure this thing is rigged, your messing with me!" Tyler said as he started to get inpatient with her and the game
"Give me your card" Debby said as she held her hand out to take the card from Tyler's hand
"Good luck, someone probably rigged it or something stupid like that" Tyler said as he gave her the card and watched as the threw the card down on top of the other one
the card flipped over
"How did you do that?!" Tyler said as he picked up the card and looked at it
"Magic" Debby said as she chuckled and slapped Tyler lightly
"So it is possible" Tyler whispered to himself as he looked at Debbys card
"I told you" Debby said as she picked up her card and looked at him with a slight smile
"Do you give up yet, Tyler?" Debby said as she looked him in the eyes with a smile
"Not yet" Tyler said as he grabbed his card and gripped and threw it down on top of Debby's card
It finally flipped over
"Yes! I did it!" Tyler said as he looked at Debby
"Well done" Debby said as she clapped her hands together with a smile
"I finally won!" Tyler said as he picked up the two cards and dropped them in the table beside them
"Congratulations Joseph" Debby said as she flipped through her money and put them in her wallet and gave it to him with a slight smile
"Your whole wallet?" Tyler said as he looked down at her wallet, feeling slightly bad
"It's yours now, you won after all" Debby said as she looked down at them
It took a second for Tyler to respond
"No thanks, I'm good" Tyler said as he pushed her wallet away from him
Debby was shocked, she knew that Tyler was poor, or had a feeling that he was
"Not to be mean, but aren't you poor?" Debby said as she looked him in the eyes
"Yeah, but you worked so hard for this job, you deserve the money" Tyler said as he slipped her wallet into her pocket and smiled
"Your a good man, Tyler" Debby said as she gave him an invite to the squid game to the card and slipped a hundred dollar bill into his pocket
"Thank you so much" Tyler said as he smiled at it
"Don't thank me, Tyler" Debby said as someone walked in
"Hi Josh" Debby said as she waved to him
"Who?" Tyler said as he looked over to see a red haired boy with brown eyes and paper white teeth with the cutest smile Tyler's ever seen
"O-oh" Tyler said as he looked at the boy with a slight smile
"Morning Debby" Josh said as he waved at her at looked at Tyler with a sweet, welcoming smile
"I'll tell you if I win anything" Tyler said as he smiled at Debby
"Here's how to join the games" Debby said, giving him a piece of paper
"Thank you" Tyler said as he waved to Debby and walked out the door with a smile
