Intro To The Games

"Attention all members, welcome to the squid games" a loud speaker said
"The squid games? That's it!" Josh said as he looked over at the large speaker on the side of the wall
"This is your introduction to the squid games, please take a seat" the speaker said everyone looked up at it and sat down on the ground
"I'm scared" Debby's friend whispered to Debby and the other two boys, looking at the speaker
"We all are, Jenna" Debby whispered back as the guards faced towards the crowd in silence
"You should be all sitting down, now that I have your attention, you should notice that you all have green suits with a number on it, there should be four hundred and fifty six members in the main room" the speaker said as people started to look at their chests, reading their numbers
"I'm number four hundred and fifty six, which means I'm the last member" Tyler said, looking at his chest
"Nice, I'm number one" Josh said as he looked at Tyler with a slight smile
"How lucky" Tyler said as his voice went soft and his eyes melted when he looked at Josh with a smile
"I'm number two hundred and eighteen" Jenna said, pointing to her number
"What are you?" Jenna whispered to Debby, looking at her chest, trying to find her number
"I'm sixty seven" Debby whispered back to Jenna, patting their chest
"Nice" Jenna whispered as the four members looked back up at the speaker
"Every each and one of you people will follow the guards into the room where you will take a picture of yourself and your number once I'm done speaking, I will repeat this at the end" the speaker said as a door opened leading to a room with many levels of stairs leading up to a floor with cameras on the wall
"There are six games in total, the first game is the card flip game called Ddakji, where there are two players in involved, one person must flip the others player's card around, Ddakji is the opening game" The speaker said as Tyler looked at Debby in the eyes
"That's the game we played" Tyler whispered, pointing to Debby with his thumb, looking at the other two members in the group
"We know" Jenna whispered back to Tyler and then looked back at the speaker
"The next game is called Red Light, Green Light, their will be a big doll, when she is turned around it will mean green light, and when she is facing you, it will mean red light where you must stop moving or else you will not be in the games anymore" the speaker before pausing in mid sentence
"as in being not in the games anymore, you die by being shot" Josh whispered to Tyler
"I knew I shouldn't be here, I should of just taken the scratch and wins instead of being so selfish, but I needed to get something good for my friends daughter's birthday" Tyler whispered to himself, ranting
"It's okay Tyler" Debby whispered to him, looking him in the eyes with a smile
"No it's not, I shouldn't have been so selfish and just taken the hundred dollar bill or taken the scratch and wins" Tyler whispered
"Calm down Tyler, it's okay" Josh whispered as he put his hand on Tyler's back
"Sorry" Tyler whispered as he voice got a bit higher
His hand was so warm and felt so welcoming
"It's okay" Josh said as he let go of Tyler's back with a smile, looking  at him
"The second game is Honey Combs, there are three different shapes, the first shape is the triangle which is the easiest, the second shape which is the circle which is more harder and then there is the umbrella which is the hardest" the speaker said before pausing once again, letting people talk to one another
"Umbrella sounds really hard, I hope none of us get it" Tyler whispered to himself
"We all hope none of us get it" Jenna whispered, looking at him
"The next game is Tug of war, where two teams will go up against one another and pull on a rope, whoever loses will fall off the platform" the speaker said before pausing again
"I'm guessing you fall onto the ground and die from fall damage or at least break a couple bones" Tyler whispered to himself
"You might get lucky and land on their feet, but I'm pretty sure there will be guards on the lower level to shoot you" Josh whispered to Tyler
"Probably" Tyler whispered back to Josh
"The next game is Marbles, you will get a bag of ten marbles in total, you must find a way to play fair and find a way to eliminate the other player against you" the speaker said before pausing
"I hope none of us are together" Tyler whispered
"We can't keep talking, the guards are listening in to who's friends or have somewhat of a bond" Jenna whispered to Tyler
"Sorry" Tyler whispered back to Jenna, looking at her
"It's okay, don't worry about it Tyler, as long as the guards don't hear us" Debby said as she lay her head on his shoulder with a smile
"Okay" Tyler said as he looked back up at the speaker
"The fifth game is Glass tile or as it's known as, Hopscotch, there will be eight glass boards in front you to get to the other side, if you chose the wrong one you will fall into the void and be eliminated" the speaker said before pausing once again
"Have anything to say about that, Tyler?" Jenna whispered to him
"I'll take the lead out of the four of us" Tyler whispered, looking at her before turning his head back to the speaker
"Fair enough to me, your choice" Jenna said, looking at him for a second before turning back to the speaker
"The last game is called the squid game, I will explain once we get to the actual game, that is all the games, please stand up and please follow the guards to the door that has opened earlier, you will follow them into the room to take pictures of your number and you will tell them your name, I will see the remaining six of you in the last game" the speaker said as everyone stood up and looked toward the guards
"Everyone follow me" the guards yelled out to the crowd
