Main Room

Tyler felt good and warm on the inside, thinking about the fact that he didn't take the money once in his life for the first time ever. Tyler would never ever not take money, but something was telling him it was the wrong thing to do
When Tyler got home he put the waffles on the counter and pulled one out and pulled the other one of from the box and put them in the toaster
-Meanwhile at the store-
"So, where is that boy off to? You gave him a location to something or somewhere" Josh asked as he leaned on  the table, interested in what Debby had to say to him
"His name is Tyler and he's off to the games" Debby said, looking  at her phone as Josh chuckled
"Like the Hunger Games?" Josh said jokingly, looking at her with a slight smile
"Very funny Josh, but he's off to the Squid Games or whatever that is" Debby said as she scrolled through Instagram
"The squid games?!" Josh said as he looked at her in the eyes
"Yeah, why?" Debby said as she looked up at him with a concerned look on her face
"People die like that, there's only one winner" Josh said as he grabbed a sheet of paper to the location and ran towards the door
"Where are you going?!" Debby yelled to him
"I'm going after him!" Josh yelled back and ran
-Next Morning-
When it was time, Tyler went to the location he was told to go
"Hello?" Tyler said as he walked into a parking lot to see two people covered in black walking towards him
"Come here" one of the men said as they ran at him
"What the-?" Tyler said as he ran
The two man caught up to him and covered his mouth with a cloth and brought him over to a car
"Tyler?" Josh said as the two people looked at him and ran after him
"Back up" Josh yelled at them as he tried to hit one them
Eventually the two people in the suits finally got him and put him in a car with Tyler
The two people got in the car once they put the two boys in successfully, then drove off to the games
When the two boys woke up, they were in a green and white jumpsuit and in a bed by themselves on the side of a big room.
"Where am I? Is this what she was talking about?" Tyler thought as he looked around
"Josh?" Tyler whispered to himself as he looked across from him to see Josh lying down in a bed with a white cover over him
"Josh!" Tyler said as he jumped out of the bed and ran over to him before someone in a red suit and a black mask grabbed the back of his jumpsuit.
"Where do you think you're going?" The man said
The voice brought chills down Tyler's spine, he knew something was off about this place
"I noticed someone, I thought I knew them but I don't" Tyler said, looking at them with a scared look
Tyler already wanted to protect Josh, so he lied to the man, not caring what the consequences were
"Go back to your bed, the games didn't start yet" the man replied as he pointed over to his bed.
"Yes sir" Tyler whispered under his breath and went back to his bed and went under the covers
"Am I supposed to be here?" Tyler thought to himself in a scared way
"Tyler, is that you?" Josh said, getting up from the covers and taking them off from his body, looking across the room to see the boy in green and white
"Josh?" Tyler said as he looked over at him as his eyes and face started to light up
"Tyler" Josh whispered under his breath with a smile, looking at the boy across from him
"Josh, we can't leave our beds, and I'm not getting a good feeling from this" Tyler whispered, hoping that he would hear him or understand him.
Luckily Josh was good with reading lips and so was Tyler, when he really needed to.
"I know Tyler, it's not safe to be here, people die here which is terrifying" Josh whispered.
"People die here?" Tyler whispered to himself and looked at the ground before looking back at Josh in the eyes with concern on his face.
"Yes, they do" Josh whispered to him, looking down at the ground.
"I knew that I shouldn't be here, Debby tricked me, do you even win money or is this just straight up death?" Tyler whispered to Josh, looking at him
"You win if you survive all the games, but there's only one winner" Josh whispered to Tyler
"You win money, right?" Tyler whispered, looking at the guard
"Yes, you do" a voice said to him
Tyler looked over to see Debby standing there with another girl beside her
"Debby!" Tyler said as he stood up and walked over to her
"Yes?" Debby said as she flinched
"Why did you bring me here to these so called games?!" Tyler yelled, putting his hand up and moving it around
"I didn't know it would kill people or if it was a real thing, my friend said they played the squid games and said it was simple, she won one billion dollars and we spent some of it" Debby explained as she looked up into his eyes
"Is your friend the girl beside you?" Tyler said as he looked at the girl beside her
Before Debby responded to Tyler, she looked around to see if their were any guards near her
Their was two guards listening in on their conversation, to see what they were up to
"No, that's someone I know, we joined the games to go through this with you, so if you go down then we go down together, well I guess you could say my friend, but not really" Debby said
"Oh" Tyler said as the guard nodded and walked away to listen in on other conversations
"I'm kidding, she's one of my best friends, you have to watch the guards" Debby said, pointing to the guards as Tyler looked over to where she was pointing
"I see" Tyler said as he watched the guards listen to some conversations of the other members in the room
