When they arrived home Tyler waved goodbye to the girls and returned back with Zach by his side
As weeks went on, Tyler had finally bought a gift for his friend's daughter's birthday with the scratch and wins that Debby gave him on the day before he left
"Open it up, Rosie" Tyler said as he watched Rosie open the gift
Inside the gift was a black husky with a collar and a name tag that said "number one" on it
"Thank you, Tyler" Rosie said as she put the husky in her lap and started playing with it
"It's the best I could do" Tyler said as he stood up and looked out the window to see Jenna and Debby, waving their hands for him to come outside
Tyler nodded and walked outside
"What's up ladies?" Tyler asked as their smile on their faces got bigger
"Turn around, Tyler" Debby said as she pointed behind Tyler
When Tyler looked around he saw Josh walking towards him as the sun hit his back
"Josh" Tyler said as his voice went a bit high
"I'm alright, Tyler" Josh said before Tyler ran up to him and hugged him tightly, wrapping his arms around Josh's upper chest, crying a bit
"I thought I lost you" Tyler said, closing his eyes and letting his tears fall down his face
"You will never lose me, Tyler, the games are over" Josh said as he hugged Tyler back and smiled as he started to tear up
"I love you, Josh" Tyler said as he opened his eyes and looked up at him
"I love you too, Tyler" Josh said as Tyler let go and looked him in the eyes
He saw Josh's eyes, the eyes he knew and loved from day one
"We'll head inside, we bought gifts for Rosie too" Debby said as she walked inside with Jenna holding her hand
"Thank you for everything, Josh" Tyler said as he looked at his eyes and then his lips
"Anything for you" Josh said before he kisses Tyler's lips
