"We got to be careful in this next game, apparently they pair you with your best friend or someone you connect to" Jenna whispered as the group walked into the main room, waiting for the other teams to finish their game
"I say we make friends with other people and then play against them" Tyler whispered
"That's a great idea Tyler, clever thinking" Josh whispered to Josh as they looked over at the door
"Let's make some friends and congratulate who ever wins the game" Debby whispered as the group walked into the first room and watched as the group after them was still playing
Finally one of the teams pulled the other team of the platform and won
"Nice job guys!" Debby yelled at the crowd that walked in
"Thank you" a guy yelled back
"Nice job, you did great man" Josh said, looking at a women in black
"Thank you, you did pretty well too, it looked easy for you" the women replied
"By the way, what's your name?" Josh asked in a friendly tone
"My name's Julie" the girl replied
"Nice name, I'm Josh" Josh said as he smiled at her and watched as the other teams played against one another
Once the final team won and walked back into the room as everyone cheered
"Well done, guys!" Jenna yelled into the crowd
"Thank you so much, appreciate it" a guy called back to Jenna with a smile
"Follow me into the main room" the guard called out as the crowd kept cheering on the final winning team and followed the guards into the room
"Next game is called Marbles, you will play against your friends, we've been looking out for you connecting with some people, we've noticed two people of two in the crowd, which is, Number one and number and twenty three and number two hundred and eighteen and number forty five, those two numbers come towards the front" the guard said as Jenna, Josh, Julie and the other member went towards the front
"Introduce yourselves to one another" the guard said
"Hi, I'm Micheal and I'm probably going to fail this one, cause I'm bad at marbles but we'll see" the guy said
"Hi, I'm Jenna, and I tend to be pretty good at marbles" Jenna said with a smile as she turned
"Hi I'm Josh, and I'm a solo drummer" Josh said looking at Julie with a smile
"Hi Josh, I'm Julie and I'm a hair stylist" Julie said
"Alright, take the marbles and head into that room over there" the guard said as the four members went into the room that was pointed to
"Alright, number four hundred and fifty six with number seventeen, number four hundred and fifty one with sixty seven" the Baird yelled out
"Oh my good we did it" Tyler thought to himself as he walked into the room with his partner
"First to three?" the guy said as he held the marbles out
"Sure" Tyler said as he took his marbles and played with him
-meanwhile-
"I'm so sorry we got paired together, Josh" Julie said as she found a spot on the ground and sat down
"It's okay, it wasn't your choice, it was the guard assuming we were friends, even though I do see you as a friend" Josh lied, he knew that he was going to betray her
"Yeah, I know" Julie said as Ashe pulled out the marbles and gave him five and started playing
"Number forty five has been eliminated" a speaker said before a loud bang went off
"Well done, Jenna" Tyler whispered to himself as he noticed he won against his partner
"Dang it" The guy said before he got shot
"Player seventeen has been eliminated" a speaker said
"Well done, Tyler" Jenna whispered back, being able to hear him
The group was somewhat close to each other so they could hear one another, but the guards couldn't
Tyler and Jenna then stood up and walked over to two different guards to stay away from each other
"I won against my partner" Tyler said as he stood beside the guard and watched as the speaker went off again
"Player four hundred and fifty one has been eliminated" the speaker said before a loud bang went off again
"Well played, friend" Debby whispered as he stood up and walked over to the guards
"It's all on Josh now" Tyler thought in his head
The group was scared for Josh, he was the only player left in the group that was still playing
There was a long moment of silent before the speaker went off again
"Number twenty three has been eliminated" the speaker said before another band went off
"He did it!" Tyler thought to himself and got excited for Josh for winning
The group watched as Josh walked out of the spot he was in and went to the other side of the room
"Well done, number one" the guard said as Josh stood beside them
"Thank you" Josh said with a smile and watched the others play
When the guards weren't looking, the group looked at each other and smiled and nodded to one another and then watched as other players won and walked to the other side of the room
"The people who have won may go into the main room, once the players have won, we will go back in the room and begin explaining the next game" the guard said as the group went into the main room and sat on their beds
"We made it past one of the hardest, the next game is glass tiles, I don't think we can pick our order, I think the guards must be more smarter than that" Jenna whispered to the group as she looked up at them
"We've made it so far, and if we all make it to the final game we let Tyler win" Josh whispered as Tyler looked at him
"Why me?" Tyler said as he looked at Josh and started getting butterflies
At that moment Tyler knew he fell in love with Josh
"We all know that you needed the money from the start, you were the first person out of all of us that had the guts to join the game" Josh whispered back
"He didn't know it would be this dangerous, I was the one who gave him the location, thinking it wasn't a stupid trick" Debby whispered as she looked at the ground, feeling bad
Just then the guards walked in with fewer people in the crowd
