Honey Combs

The crowd followed the guards back to the main room
"Welcome back to the main room, there are now four hundred and forty two of you people left remaining in these games" the guard called out as a a screen came down from the roof and showed the number four hundred and forty two
"So, fourteen people died in the first game, that's a lot" Tyler whispered to himself
"The next game is honey combs, it's kinda like a cookie, you will get a needle to cut the cookie into the shape, the shape is already somewhat cut out on the cookie, you must not break it in anyway shape or form, there are three shapes in total, there is the triangle which is the easiest, then there is the circle shape which is the second easiest, then there is the umbrella which is the hardest" the guard called out to the crowd
"Everyone get in a line and follow me and the other guards into the next room" the guard yelled
The crowd of people started forming a line behind the last guard and followed them into a new room
"Oh, it's a new room, that's kinda cool I guess" Tyler said, looking around
The room looked like a playground with a slide in it
"This is the honeycomb room, please sit down while we give you your cookies" the guard said as he started picking up the tins of cookies and started passing them around
"Your welcome to go anywhere you like, but you are not allowed to leave the room" the guard called out as people started moving onto the slide
"Here you go" a guard said as he put a plastic round tin in front of Tyler's legs
"You all have under ten minutes to carve these cookies, let the game begin!" the guard yelled as the timer on the wall started counting town from ten minutes
The crowd started opening their tins and started scratching at their cookies with the needle
When Tyler opened his cookie, he looked inside to see a shape of an umbrella and a needle on top of it
"Out of all the shapes, I got the hardest one" Tyler whispered as he started cutting the cookie with the needle
The cookie wasn't as hard as he thought it would be, the shape came out perfectly, but it was hard to do it carefully with the guards shooting other people around him
"I'm done" Tyler said as a guard walked over to him and checked his cookie
"Well done, you may now eat it" the Baird said as he patted Tyler on the back and walked off to go check on the others
"Oh, sweet" Tyler said as he looked at the cookie and slipped it into his pocket
"Your not going to eat it?" A voice called to him as he looked over to see a man looking at him
"No, I'm gonna keep it if I win these games and prove to people that I played in the games and won" Tyler said as he held the cookie in his hand
"Smart" the man said as he turned back and strange scratching again
In that moment, Tyler picked up his cookie and thought to himself
"I don't need to prove anything, no one should know that I played these games or they would either get worried for me or assumed something" Tyler said as he looked at the cookie and ate it
The cookie was really sweet and crunchy, Tyler could tell it was made with a lot of honey
"Was it good?" The man asked again
"Yeah, it was really sweet though, definitely a lot of honey, but overall it was a good cookie" Tyler said as he looked at the plastic tin and putting the needle down and put the lid back on and closed it and then looked around in the crowd
There were fewer people than last time
Luckily Tyler saw Debby, Jenna and Josh still in the crowd, but tried not to make it clear
"Notice anyone in the crowd yet?" a guard said as he kneeled beside Tyler and looked out to the crowd
"Nope, I don't think any of my friends would play these games, they mostly just chill at home" Tyler said as he looked away from the groups direction
"Fair enough" the guard said as he stood up and started to walk over to other members in the crowd
"I hope everyone is alright, and done" Tyler thought
Because of how distracted Tyler was with the cookie he could t really see who has been eliminated from the games
"Two minutes left remaining, everyone who has completed their cookies successfully, please go to the  end of the room and wait there until the other members in the room has finished successfully or have been eliminated" the guard called out as the crowd that was still left remaining went to the other half of the room and waited for the players that were still in the game
Tyler watched as he saw the group walk into the other side of the room
"We're doing so well so far" Tyler whispered
"The next game is going to be harder for us to stay in a group" Jenna whispered as she lead the group behind the crowd of people watching
"Why is that?" Tyler whispered back
"The next game is tug of war, if we're going up against each other, we will lose a member of the group, or two, or three and one of us will be alone" Jenna whispered
"What if we're all on a team?" Josh whispered to her
"That would be amazing, but I doubt it" Jenna said as she watched as the timer went off
"Times up!" The guard said as he started eliminating the other members
"About three hundred and fifteen members are left remaining and will be moving onto the next game" the guard called out to the crowd as they started celebrating once again
"Follow is back to the main room" the guard called out, starting to walk back to the main room as the crowd followed them back to the main room
