Liana, Clark, and Kara are at the Harvest Festival. Kara says, "After a week of captivity on the farm with nothing but, "Project Runway" and "Beauty and the Geek", for the company you finally take me out, to the Corn Festival." Liana says, "Harvest Festival. Smallville's big event. Just try to enjoy it." Liana grabs a basket with corn and Kara says, "Clark, we're wasting our time, okay? My father sent me here with one mission. I have to find that crystal for my ship." Clark says, "We have to find that crystal. I've been working on it." Kara says, "Well, I seriously doubt it's buried under one of these bushels. No offense, but I can cover twice the area that you can."  They walk over to a table and put down the baskets of corn. Clark says, "Consider your wings clipped. You're not flying." Liana softly says, "Kara, the people who found your ship are gonna be looking for the person who came in it." Clark nods and says, "If you use your abilities, it'll lead them straight to you. You just have to fit in." Kara looks to see a cute guy and says, "How do I fit in with him?" Liana and Clark follow her gaze to see Jimmy. Liana says, "Jimmy?" Clark sees her eyes turning red and says, "Hey, cool down. It's okay. Used to happen to me all the time." Somone says, "Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen thank you for joining us, I would like to..." Liana says, "It's the Harvest Festival's Centennial Anniversary. There's a town legend that a famous outlaw robbed a train and buried the loot somewhere in Smallville. The map to the gold is supposed to be hidden inside the time capsule." Kara says, "What I don't get is why everyone is so excited to open up a bunch of old junk." Clark says, "How did you..." Clark realizes she used her x-ray vision. Then three girls drive up in a red convertible. They walk through the crowd and mostly all the guys are looking at how hot they look. A woman passes out a flier and hands one to Kara and it's about the Miss Sweet Corn Pageant. Kara looks at the couple and says, "Maybe fitting in won't be so bad after all." Later, Liana's riding her horse Midnight through the fields and she comes back to the farm putting her horse back into the stable." As Liana feeds her horse, Shelby walks in and barks. Liana smiles at him and says, "Hey, boy." Liana reaches down and scratches behind his ears and Shelby wags his tail happy. Liana grabs a brush and starts brushing Midnight's hair out of his eyes. What Liana doesn't know is Lana walks into the stable and sees her. Lana's walking to her and Shelby starts barking crazy and Liana says, "Hey, what's wrong?" Liana then feels a hand on her shoulder, and she turns around and sees Lana alive. Tears start to appear in her eyes, and she softly says, "Are you real?" Lana softly smiles and places her hand on her sister's face and Liana softly smiles. Liana gives Lana a big hug and cries. Lana rubs her sister's back and is happy to be back with her sister. Then Liana and Lana sit in the living room and Liana says, "Lana, I thought you were gone. If you knew how that felt..." Lana softly says, "Liana, I am so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you." Liana nods and says, "But you didn't trust me enough to let me help." Lana softly says, "I was trying to protect you. Liana, I know you. You're gonna rush in there and try and save someone even if it means putting your own life in danger. And when Lionel threatened to hurt you... I couldn't take that chance." Liana softly smiles and says, "You know, it's a little ironic, hearing someone else say that. But I guess I'm just not used to... being the one that needs to be protected." Lana smiles and then Clark walks in and says, "Hey, Liana is she..." Clark stops mid-sentence when she sees Lana alive and Lana says, "Hi." Clark says, "Hi." Lana looks at Liana and Clark and says, "You guys can't tell Chloe I'm alive." Liana says, "Why not?" Lana looks at Liana and says, "I committed a serious crime, and I wasn't supposed to come back here. My name has to be cleared before I suddenly reappear in Smallville." Liana says, "Well, then you can stay here at the farm with us, right Clark?" Clark nods and says, "Yeah. You'll be safe. But I have to warn you, our life has become a little more..." Kara then walks in with a red bikini on and is balancing a book on her head. Clark finishes his sentence by saying, "Complicated." Lana softly says, "That might be an understatement." Clark says, "Lana, this is my cousin, Kara." Kara smiles and says, "Hi." Lana smiles and says, "Hi." Kara says, "Say hello to the next Miss Sweet Corn." Clark chuckles nervously and walks over to Kara and says, "Uh, listen, uh, when I talked about fitting in I was t-thinking with something with more clothes. Uh, this is definitely not blending in." Kara says, "You mean undercover?" Clarks says, "Yes, exactly. And this is... not covered. Um, look, can you just go change, please? Now." Kara sighs and says, "Fine." Then she speeds out and Lana's shocked. Clark and Liana look at each other and Lana says, "How can she move so fast?" Liana looks at Clark and softly says, "You can trust her, she protected mine." Clark looks at Lana and tells her everything about his secret and Lana says, "Wow, so you're an alien?" Clark nods and says, "Yeah." Lana says, "Looks like we both were trying to protect Liana with secrets." Clark nods and says, "Yeah." Kara then speeds back in with appropriate clothes on. Liana looks at Clark and says, "We're just gonna leave you two alone and talk. Me and Lana have some catching up to do." Liana pecks Clark's lips and softly says, "Go easy on Kara." Clark sighs and softly says, "Okay." Liana walks out the room with Lana. Liana explains everything that happened after Lana died. Lana says, "Wow, so you're a reporter at the Daily Planet? Wow, that's amazing. Are you happy?" Liana softly smiles and says, "I am now. I have everything I want, my dream job, I can be myself around Clark, and now you're alive." Lana smiles and hugs her sister a hug. Later, Liana's in the kitchen and Clark's grabbing the lemonade out the fridge. Clark says, "Remind me to thank my mom. Before Kra, I had no idea what she and my dad went through." Liana softly smiles and grabs two glasses and says, "You turned out well. Look, I know you're being a little hard on Kara because she didn't grow up here, but you can't keep her locked in the house. You're her cousin, you're supposed to guide her not keep her hidden." Clark pours the lemonade into the glasses and says, "What am I supposed to do if she gets into trouble?" Liana says, "Be there for her, just like how your parents were there for you. Your parents trusted you enough to live your life and find that balance on your own. Don't you think Kara deserves the same chance? You don't have to be too hard on yourself. Something tells me that you are never going to understand the heart of a teenage girl. Whether she's from Krypton or Kansas." Clark smiles and says, "All the conversations I imagined having with you about my powers, this was not one of them. Can't believe I was ever worried that you wouldn't understand." Liana softly smiles and says, "Hey, I had the same problem. I thought when you were keeping secrets from me, that I couldn't share mine with you." Clark grabs Liana's hand and says, "Now we both don't have to worry about that anymore. No more secrets." Liana nods with a smile and says, "No more secrets." Liana softly kisses Clark, and he kisses her back with so much love. Later, Lana's in the kitchen and Lex walks in and says, "Lana. I got your message. I guess it would have been a little awkward for you to come to the mansion." As Lex goes to sit down, Lana says, "Don't sit down. You won't be staying long." Lex softly says, "I understand. This isn't a conversation I've been looking forward to having. I guess I just wasn't ready." Lana softly says, "You promised you'd take care of everything. That I could come back to Smallville." Lex says, "Well, with a little persuasion, the, uh... the DA has agreed to not press charges. The evidence has been destroyed, and the felon my father bribed to confess to the crime, died in prison of natural causes. You-you're a free woman. I don't suppose I can ask you... to somehow see that every horrible thing I did... was because I truly do love you." Lana says, "No. You can't ask that." Lana gets up and walks to the door and Lex says, "Of course. My lawyer is drawing up the settlement agreement." Lana says, "I don't want your money." Lex says, "Should I assume that excludes the $10 million you skillfully siphoned out from under me?" Lana says, "I was trying to escape." Lex says, "I'm not admonishing you; I'm applauding you. It's not every day someone is clever enough to manage a coup like that. Although, I'm not sure Liana would see it that way." Lex then walks out the door. Later, Lana goes to see Chloe at the Daily Planet and says, "What about resurrection? I think that's a story he'd probably appreciate." Chloe can't believe Lana's alive and says, "Lana. You're alive." Chloe gives Lana a hug and continues to say, "Does Liana know?" Lana says, "I'm sorry, but I swore her and Clark to secrecy." Chloe nods and smiles big that she's happy that Lana's alive and Lana smiles back happy to be home in Smallville with her family and friends.
