Liana's walking in the Daily Planet and she sees the elevator doors closing and says, "Wait! Hold the doors!" Liana pushes the door open and sees Dinah Lance. Liana walks in and stands next to her and says, "Dinah Lance, the word of justice the right-wing hawk of the airwaves. You're all dressed up. Heading to an execution?" Dinah chuckles and says, "If you ever did any fact-checking, Liana you'd know that the state outlawed those years ago." Liana says, "I'm sure you'll get over it someday." Dinah says, "Well, if you're so in the know then I suppose you know that your limousine-liberal Casanova has resurfaced. Minus a certain shrill arm trophy." Dinah hands Liana the newspaper and sees that Oliver's back, Liana sighs. Later, Lana's at the Foundation and Lionel walks in. Lionel says, "I, um, "I've been calling the farm, but no one answers. It's as if the place had been abandoned." Lana says, "Or we have caller ID." Lionel says, "The, um, editor of the "Daily Planet" Grant Gabriel he's been shot and killed." Lana says, "Lex me guess. You think Lex is behind it." Lionel says, "I do, yes. I think it's why he bought the paper." Lana says, "It's the beauty of a divorce, Lionel. Covering up Lex's baggage is no longer my problem." Lionel says, "I don't want to cover it up, Lana. I want proof. I know you can get it for me." Lana says, "Lex and I have kind of suspended teatime together." Lionel says, "I know you have hours of footage spy footage on him. And I'm sure I can find something that will incriminate him." Lana says, "What leads you to believe that I would help you?" Lionel says, "Several weeks ago, you held a very sick woman hostage." Lana says, "I was trying to help her." Lionel says, "And how did that work out for you, bypassing the hospital? Oh, oh, yes. That's right. She died in your care. Why didn't you tell Liana?" Lana doesn't answer him, and he walks away and says, "Call me when you're ready for movie night."
