din woke as sunlight kissed his closed eyes, drawing itself across your entangled forms like honey. you faced away from him on the bed, tucked neatly against his chest, fitting so closely you seemed made for him.

din hoped you were made for him. he closed his eyes again, pressing his face against your neck and wishing this moment, this lazy, honey-gold moment would last forever. that the two of you could lay in bed, half-asleep and warm, nestled so closely into each other's warmth that you made a whole being, something greater.

you moved, groaning and yawning. "din," you whispered, slurring the words with sleep.
din realized that it was good time didn't freeze. every second time continued, he had a chance to see you, hear you.

"five more minutes," he whispered back. you gave a quiet huff of a laugh, and curled closer. your breathing evened out.
