Addi's POV
At hayun na nga, di nga umuwi hanggang umaga. Talagang unalis siya kasi wala ang sasakyan niya. Buti na lang nagtext daw siya sa mama niya na may gagawin lang siyang importante kaya maaga siyang umalis. Naiwan akong mag-isa dito haaays.
Pero okay lang, welcome na welcome naman ako dito sa kanila at nagkakasundo naman kami nang parents niya, lalo na lola niya.
"You know what, Addi. I hope you'll be patient to Levi. Alam kong mainitin ulo niyan but he's the sweetest." she smiled while I am helping her watering the plants of her beautiful garden.
"Hehe opo. Okay lang naiintindihan ko naman siya. Ako naman dapat mag adjust kasi ako yung bigla lang dumating sa buhay niya." I will always be sorry to you, Levi.
"My grandson has a very mysterious personality and it's been passed from my husband, to his mom and up to him. Ewan ko ba, baka nasa genes na talaga nila he he he" ganun ba. Pansin ko nga. Tulad ni Mama Ana, she is strict yet sweet to me. Si Levi ganun naman din lalo sa lola niya. "Ana was really furious nang malamang ang anak niyang matalino, gwapo at masipag, will end up to somebody na ganda at katawan lang puhunan hahahaha" hagalpak ni lola. Nako at ako ipinalit na walang puhunan?
"Pero, mahal naman siya ni Levi. Para po sakin yun ang importante di ba kahit ano pa itsura nang tao pero kung mahal mo panghahawakan mo talaga yun."
"You're really such pure and innocent" sabay pisil sa pisngi ko na parang bata. "I bet wala ka pang boyfriend ano?"
Ehehehe. I grinned as an answer.
"Not all first will end up last. Trust me. Sometimes they'll end up as lessons. My grandson is still trying to figure out what he wants, and who he will love. I am confident that girl named Cali is not he will end up with" shaking her head. Ayoko ng magsalita, wala naman talaga akong experience ahahaha. Kaya I cannot relate.
Bumalik lang ang atensyon ko kay lola nang hinawakan niya kanang kamay ko na tila may ihahabilin sakin. Tinitigan niya ang mga mata ko na nakangiti.
"This might sound not right for you dahil nga pilit namin kayong ikasal ni Levi but I know you can take care of him."
Nanlaki mga mata ko sa nadinig. A--ako? Paano eh, ayaw nga sakin ni Levi. Di ko nga alam kung ano gagawin. Ang gusto niya lang sa ginagawa ko ay ang mga luto ko yun lang pero ang mabalik yun, baka si Caliber, kaya gawin yun.
Levi's POV
"I think we should.... officialize our relationship..... especially at school." as she said that, I am a bit more convinced that she's no longer connected with that guy she two timed with me. I really never thought that he's just a schoolmate, well how would I know, I don't even remember all the names of my classmates then. "was it him the reason why you would like to have a private relationship with me before?" I curiously asked. I really have lots of questions.
"Yeah. But the time I dumped him, It was me who started the rumor." She smiled. "I am so excited to inform everyone that I am your girl." she slightly whispered as she lean on my shoulder. It makes me happy. For how long did I thought ba makasama siya ulit? Akala ko di na. "Will you agree to it, Levi? Kahit na may asawa ka na? Kahit na magalit pa parents mo? I want her to know, alam mo ba? Gusto kong ipamukha sa asawa mong akin ka lang. Na I deserve to be in her role." she hugged me tight as how she meant what was saying. You better do because you should.
"Of course. I don't care anymore. You matter the most to me. Not them, not her." I am graduating this year, makuha ko lang degree ko then I am done. I can just easily work for myself.
"Can I go to your house?"
What?
Nagulat ako sa tanong niya. Ano bang gagawin niya doon?
"Our house?"
"You and your wife's house. I'll help you get rid of her." I was kinda amused. Is she really into that? I felt kinda embarrassed as well and concerned because, I am afraid she'll tell my parents na nagkabalikan na kami. Well although I mean it, na di ako natatakot sa kanila but I am thinking about lola. I almost forgot her
"Levi?"
"Uhhh... Yeah of course." But who am I to say no. She's back now. I'll accept all the consequence and brace myself.
