Jed was face down on the bench infront of their dioramas. Octavius stood infront of him and sighed. "Jedidiah. If you just tell me what's wrong perhaps I could assist You." He said. "I just, I like someone octy. I just ain't got any clue on how to tell hi-her." Jed groaned. "Hmm. Well, who is this person? Are they from your home or mine or somehow the Mayans?" Oct asked.
"Um well. I can tell you their roman." Jed mumbled. "Oh that's wonderful! I can really help now. Hmm. Do I get any more information?" He asked.
"They have brown hair, it's short, they uh, like adventure." Jed said. "Hmm. Ooh, is it Maya?" Oct asked referring to a girl in Rome that also found herself in weird situations.
Jed thought about it. He wanted to tell Oct the truth but, he was scared. "Y-yeah." Jed said. Oct smiled and nodded, thinking of his plan.

Jed had left to do something and Oct went to Rome. "Maya? What in Venus are you doing up there?" Oct asked looking at the girl who was on top of a shed. "Hm oh hey general. Oh this? Just hanging out. Hey hey wait!" She said hopping down. "It feels like you have a question for me." She said. "Actually I do. You know my friend Jedidiah from the westerns. Correct?" Oct said.
"Yeah?" "Well, I have heard from him that he has some feelings for you." He said. "Really? Huh. Never woulda thought. Thanks for telling me." She said. Maya went back on top of the shed. "No problem." Oct said and left to plan something.
A few minutes later a shaggy headed cowboy rushed over to the shed were Maya was on the roof. "Hey Maya! It's me Jed we need to talk." "Oh hey," she said and got down. "Weres Oct?" He asked. "Just left. He actually told me something about you." She said. "let me guess he told you I like you?" He asked. "Mhm. Although Im sorry to say this but i-" "oh no I do t like you I like Oct but I made a lie that I like you so I can think of how to tell him." Jed rushed out.
Maya started to laugh. "Oh thank the gods! Sorry sorry," she calmed down. " Here's a plan. Tell him that you need to talk to him. Take him somewhere private And tell h about your white lie. Then just, kiss him. He's a hopeless romantic." She said. "But what if he doesn't like me. "Hey, Blondie, Oct likes you. Trust me I technically live with the guy." She said. "Ok. Ok. Thank you kindly partner." Jed said and hugged her. "Haha. Your accents funny. I am going with you. I wanna see you either succeed or fail. Either way, entertainment." She said and hugged him back.

Jed had found Oct and dragged him to the planetarium to talk to Oct. "Jedidiah can you tell me what you are doing? I have things to plan." Oct sighed. "Yeah yeah well you ain't gonna need to plan anymore. Ok. So, uh" he said as he let go of Oct and stood infront of a potted plant. "Well? What's wrong?" The Roman asked.
"I lied. I don't like Maya I just said that because I was afraid to tell you the truth." He took a breath. " I really really like you Oct. I mean what is there not to like. Your strong, brave, always care about your friends. Hell you love adventure as much as I do and im afraid I'm ruining our friendship by saying I like you and, and goddamn it I just-" Jed's rant was cut off by soft lips on his.
The western relaxes from his tense form and kissed back. "Jedidiah, I can assure you that this won't ruin our friendship. You should have just told me at the beginning." Oct said pulling back a little. "I know I just, I don't know man. You know these things aren't on in the west." Jed sighed.
Oct rested his hands on the sides of Jeds face. "They are acceptable in Rome. I wouldn't have thought low of you.", Oct said. "So does this mean you'll date me?" Jed asked. "Of course I will." Oct smiled and kissed him softly, Jed kissed back.
"YES!" a shout was heard from behind the pot. "Maya I told ya to be quiet!" Jed exclaimed. "Sorry jeeze. Took y'all long Enough. Y'all? Im starting to sound like you." Maya laughed as she came out from behind the plant. "Why am I not surprised." Oct smiled.
Larrys voice came over the intercom "If I see one exhibit away from their spot in the next five minutes I swear to the gods, miniatures not included they get 20.", Larry sighed. "Let's hurry back." Oct said and held his hand out to Jed who took it.
The three went back, one happy her friends got to together, and two, who were now happy together.
