"What?" Chris and I say in sync.
"She's just been fucking psycho lately," Sebastian runs his hand through his hair.
"What do you mean? You haven't even seen her in two weeks," I say.
"Yeah, well it doesn't feel like it. I swear, she's never been like this and it's making me sweat. She called me like 3 times a day these past two weeks. I feel like a criminal or some shit," He breathes out.
"She's your girlfriend, okay? And she misses you. Besides, you've been acting weird as fuck," I scoff. The audacity of him to speak ill of Kels like that.
He looks around nervously, "You wanna know why I've been a shitshow?"
Sebastian digs in his pocket and pulls out a small black box. No way. No fucking way. I lightly take it out of his hand and open it. The ring is beautiful. I look over at Chris, who obviously already knew.
"This tiny rock has put a huge weight on me. I'm so nervous around her. I can't look her in the eye, I can't touch her, I can't talk to her. I feel like at any second I'm just gonna blurt it out!"
"So just say it!" I tell him. "Just ask her to marry you before you do something dumb!"
