The cells in Asgard were pretty nice, I will admit. There wasn't a lot of furniture for prisoners like me and privacy was nothing more than a myth but, considering I was technically a war trophy, it could have been way worse.

When I was locked in there, Father was already in his own cell, right in front of mine.

—What are you looking at? —I asked, as he had not taken his eyes off of me,

He shrugged. —I'm confused as to why you look so... Calm. We are imprisoned because of her, I don't know if you realized. —with his hands behind his back, he got closer to his window.

—She will come for me. —

Father chuckled, —No, she won't. —

It hurt, it really did. But the truth had to be told and I was too young to understand so. She had left me there on my own. She had left us to face whatever consequences were to come while She continued with Her plan. But Father would not let that happen.

—I have a plan. It's a good one. —he said, —I will get us both out of here and you won't have to go back to her. We will live peacefully here. Do you like the idea? —

After a second of doubt, I could only question him. —Why do you want me here? —

—Why not? —I frowned, so he continued, —You have a great power that you can use for good. You can protect people with it, and you should. It would anger her so much, watching you go against her beliefs. I'd like to see that. —he smiled, —It gets pretty lonely here, too. I could use some company if my plan is successful. Just you, me, and, well, Mother. You haven't met her yet, but you will absolutely love her. —he raised an eyebrow, —What do you think? —

It sounded like a nice plan. —There is nothing we can lose. I'm in. —

Fortunately, it went well, although it ended up being just the two of us.
