I got my AOS interview today with my hubby. (My mom-in-law looked after our son.) We went to Philadelphia, PA at their USCIS branch there. His friend Josh drove us there. The interview went so smoothly. The interviewer was so cool and friendly. The moment he greeted us when he called my name, I instantly felt that the interview would go well. I wasn't wrong with that. It felt like he talked to my hubby more than me and it seemed like they were long-lost friend. It didn't seem like an interview. It felt like a normal convo shared between two friends who didn't see each other for ages. He was really cool! I felt so nervous before the interview while waiting for my name to be called. However, I felt so confident and happy in the interview. He only asked about my previous job in the Philippines and how was being a mom. He went through with the AOS form and asked some basic questions about me. That was it! The interview probably lasted for 20 minutes or more. I wasn't able to track the time cos we left the phone in the car. We read online and were told by others not to bring phones cos they will just be turned off there. We were so obedient but then it turned out most of the people/applicants there used their phones while waiting. I guess they weren't so strict about it. So I didn't get to take photos while we were there.

The interviewer told us he would look into my application for the last and would approve it today or tomorrow. He said my 2 years green card will arrive in two weeks. The interviewer liked us and I was too happy I could literally jump for joy that the interview went well. Guess this is our day! I got to see Philadelphia as well.
