Cave Exploration (Part 23)

*Trace was trying to fix the plane, while flare gave him tools he needed*

Flare:So, realistically how much longer until you finish fixing the plane?

Trace:Honestly I don't know. Due to the current tools and the state of the plane, I'm not even sure if I can fix it.

*Flare finds a purple orb*

Flare:What is this?

Trace:I'm still figuring out what it is.

Trace:You see when me and you found speed and lazuli sleeping, I found that purple orb in the crater, when I got near it, a power detector I brought was going absolutely out of control, I wasn't just gonna leave that thing there just for somebody to take it and use it for their own needs.

Trace:I wouldn't be surprised if that thing was what caused the plane to suddenly turn off completely.

Flare:I see..

Flare:I wonder how big bro and lazuli are doing at the moment..

-Meanwhile-

*Speed was running through the forest, while lazuli was flying behind him*

*Suddenly they find Dertrum standing on a cliff above them*

Speed:What the- Hey wait its you again!

Speed:Why did you uppercut me like that? What did I do.

Dertrum:Don't act like you don't know.

Speed:What do you mean.

Dertrum:The nitro core. I can't let you reach it. You will just steal it and run off.

Speed:I don't even know what it does why would I do that, also you should worry about some absol here who I know will absolutely steal whatever you are talking about!

Lazuli:Yeah.. he is definitely capable of doing that.

Dertrum:I don't even know what an absol is. Either way I'll deal with whoever tries to steal the nitro core.

Dertrum:This should keep you busy.

*Dertrum's paw flashes green for a second*

*Suddenly a hole opens below Speed and Lazuli*

Speed:Uh oh..

*Lazuli quickly grabs Speed by the paws and starts flying*

Lazuli:I can fly you know?

Dertrum:...

*Dertrum grabs a rock and throws it on top of Lazuli and Speed, sending them both inside the hole as it covers it up*

-Inside the Hole-

*Speed and Lazuli were falling down*

*Lazuli starts flying*

Lazuli:Phew.. that was- Wait, Speed!

*Speed falls into the water*

*Speed starts going to the bottom until he hits the floor*

Speed:(Just had to be a lake of some sort huh?)

*Speed starts looking for an exit underwater*

Lazuli:Speed!

*Speed heard lazuli*

Lazuli:Speed, if you can hear me, fire a soul blaster into the roof!

*Speed summons and fires a soul blaster at the roof*

*Lazuli notices the laser*

Lazuli:Okay, stay still. I'm coming down there.

Speed:(Guess I'll just wait)
