ES:AU Speeds Determination

A Troublesome Valentine (Short)

(Kinda really late LOL)

-The sun was rising-

-Speed was just walking around the forest-

Speed:(I really like walking around here in the morning, feels really nice)

*Speed hears something moving in the bush*

Speed:?

Speed:It's probably nothing.

*Speed keeps walking*

Speed:(I should be making my way back to the treehouse, if sunshine wakes up to find me gone she might get a bit sad)

*Speed starts walking back when suddenly*

Speed:?!

*Speed Dodges an arrow barely*

Speed:What the!

*Upon closer inspection the head of the arrow has a heart shape*

Speed:That's.. weird.. why would anybody want to shoot me with that-

*Suddenly he gets hit with a heart shaped arrow in the chest*

Speed:Ow.. who..

Speed:...

*Suddenly his eyes turn into hearts and he slowly starts walking back to the treehouse*

-Meanwhile-

Lazuli:*sigh* he really needs to stop going to the forest in the morning wihout even warning anybody about it..

Lazuli:Just where could he be?

*Lazuli hears some noises nearby*

Lazuli:Who's there?

*Speed comes out of a bush*

Lazuli:Oh hey there you.. are...

Lazuli:.. Speed?

*Lazuli goes near speed*

Lazuli:Speed? Are you okay? Why are your eyes-

*Speed hugs lazuli*

Speed:I love you!

Lazuli:W-What?

Lazuli:Wait, are you sure you are okay speed?

*Speed just gives no response*

Lazuli:.. (Yep something's off..)

Lazuli:Why are your eyes shaped like hearts?

*Lazuli notices the arrow in Speed's chest*

Lazuli:What the..

*Lazuli grabs the arrow*

Lazuli:Is this why speed is acting so weird? Who even shot him with this?

*Lazuli looks up and sees a Charmander with small white wings*

Lazuli:What the...

*The Charmander waves and shoots her with an arrow*

Lazuli:Oh crap!

*Lazuli dodges the arrow*

Lazuli:Wait what day was it again?

*Suddenly Lazuli remembers*

Lazuli:Oh. That's why this is happening..

*Lazuli dodges the arrow*

Lazuli:Gotta get out of here!

*Lazuli summons her ice wings then grabs speed and starts flying away*

*The Charmander shoots a homing arrow at the wings*

Lazuli:?

*The arrow hits the wings causing them to break*

Lazuli:Uh oh..

*They fall down and crash nearby*

*The Charmander follows them*

Lazuli:Ow...

*Lazuli looks at speed*

Lazuli:Atleast he is fine..

*Lazuli looks behind her and realizes they are cornered*

Lazuli:Shoot!

*The Charmander arrives and starts aiming at Lazuli*

Lazuli:W-Wait how about you don't d-do this?

*As the Charmander is about to shoot the arrow*

*The arrows the Charmander had suddenly dissapear*

*The Charmander had a confused look*

Lazuli:?

*Suddenly a pikachu with the same wings as the Charmander arrived*

Pikachu:Oh hey, if you are wondering why your arrows dissapeared, it's because our shooting time ended. So yeah, we are gonna have to wait until next valentine's to shoot more arrows, let's just go.

*The Pikachu Flies away to a cloud*

Lazuli:Phew.. I'm glad that happened..

*The Charmander looks at Lazuli*

Lazuli:?

*The Charmander gives her a glare and Flies away to the same cloud*

Lazuli:Perhaps I'm gonna have to be careful next year..

*Suddenly the arrow's effect runs out*

*Speed's eyes turn back to normal and shakes his head*

Speed:Ow... What happened?

Lazuli:Oh great! You are back to normal. That's a relief.

Speed:What do you mean?

Lazuli:It's kinda complicated.

Speed:Could you just explain to me what happened-

*Lazuli kisses him*

Speed:Wh- L-Lazuli?

Lazuli:Don't think too much about it. Let's just go.

*Lazuli starts walking back to the treehouse*

Speed:Wh- What was all that about..?
