Battle of Minds (part 25)

-On the island-

*Trace was working on a new project after fixing the plane*

-Flare was just Watching-

Flare:Can you tell me what it is now?

Trace:That's the 5th time you asked me. I'll tell you when I finish it.

Flare:But I really want to know..

Trace:Just be patient.

*Trace puts in a chip*

Trace:Finally!

Flare:What is it?! What does it do?!

Trace:I call them speed shoes!

*As trace puts them in the ground*

Trace:Here's one of the four.

Trace:As the name suggest, once you wear them and start running you can run super fast! They will give me a speed similar to Speed.

Flare:Are you gonna use them now?

Trace:Well I gotta test out if there are any bugs or errors in this so yeah.

*Trace puts all of the speed shoes on*

Trace:Alright.. it's time to-

*Suddenly*

Cycore: Look who it is! The brother of that Jolteon and his best friend!

Trace:It's you! You are that so called cycore aren't you?

Cycore:Well it seems he told you about me.

Cycore:I could care less about that at the moment.

Flare:What do you want from us!

Cycore:Nothing really... However I might aswell cause some trouble...

Trace:Well with my new speed shoes I will have no problem destroying your robots!

Cycore:The robot you are about to see is nothing like my ordinary ones hehe...

*Suddenly a ball of metal with spikes around it falls in front of Cycore*

Trace:That's quite big..

*The metal ball with spikes starts spinning*

Cycore:I'll be going now. Have fun getting crushed!

*Cycore leaves*

Trace:Now's a good time to test these speed shoes!

*Trace starts running away, as he suddenly speeds up*

*The metal ball quickly starts chasing after him*

Flare:There they go... What should I do..?

*Flare looks at the plane*

-back with the chase-

Trace:The speed of these shoes are barely faster than that metal ball! At this point I won't make it!

*Suddenly the metal ball let's out a camera drone*

Trace:What the..

*Trace looks in front of him and sees a rock*

Trace:Woah!

*Trace jumps over the rock*

Trace:That thing should definitely take damage with that rock!

*The metal ball jumps over the rock*

Trace:How did it see that coming?! It has no eyes!

Trace:Wait... That camera drone..

Trace:It must be using that drone to look what's coming up!

Trace:I have to destroy that drone... But how? I can't reach it..

*Suddenly the plane comes in with flare piloting it*

Trace:Flare!

Flare:I just had to do something! I couldn't just stand there and wait!

Trace:Flare I need your help! See that camera drone?

Flare:I do.

Trace:Well, bump it with the plane! It should push it down enough for me to hit it!

Flare:Got it!

*Flare moves the plane down, bumping the camera drone down*

*Trace jumps and punches the drone, blowing it up*

Trace:It worked!

*Suddenly another rock is in the way*

*Trace jumps over the rock*

Trace:Now it should work!

*The metal ball crashes with the rock, destroying the rock as it takes some damage*

Trace:I knew it!

*The metal ball deploys another camera drone*

Flare:It deployed another one!

Trace:Bump it with the plane again!

*Flare bumps the camera drone with the plane pushing it down*

*Trace jumps and destroys the camera drone*

*Suddenly a big rock is coming up*

Trace:Oh man! This is a big one!

*Trace barely jumps over the rock*

*The metal ball crashes with the rock as it takes some major damage and starts slowing down*

*Suddenly the metal ball starts having small explosion's*

Trace:That must've done it!

*The metal ball starts slowing down quick as the spikes stop moving*

*The metal ball crashes into some tree's and explodes*

*Trace slows down and stops running*

Trace:Phew... That was close..

*Flare lands the plane*

Flare:Is it over?

Trace:Yep.. it blew up..

Flare:How did I do? Was i too slow or too fast?

Trace:I don't care how you did, I care about the fact you helped.

Trace:Thanks for helping me with that flare, I couldn't of destroyed those camera drones if you weren't there.

Flare:No problem!

Trace:Welp, I'm gonna be busy salvaging what's left of this metal ball.

Flare:I wanna help!

Trace:Sure I guess.
