A/n: This book will only be in either MePhone(4)'s POV or third person. (I'm not going to switch POV'S within the same chapter. If by any means I do, I will make sure you're aware.) Also, I failed to mention this in the info chapter, but this book contains strong angst themes and fear. Reader discretion is recommended!

"...I want out," Microphone says firmly. After the events of the alien situation, she was done with listening to Taco. Her mind was set in stone— she didn't feel like competing anymore. Time and time again, all she did was listen to a voice that certainly wasn't her own. She was done playing the game that way.

Even after Mic's speech, Test-Tube was still infuriated. She had been brutally vaporized by none other than Taco (though she didn't see). Test-Tube felt nothing but betrayal from Microphone.

"...And the 15th... No, 16th eliminated contestant is..."

Both Knife and Test-Tube stare at their host intently, waiting for him to announce the next eliminated player.

"...Test-Tube."

Lightbulb gasps quietly at this, eyeing her friend. Test-Tube sat there with an unreadable expression. Though, inside, her blood was boiling.

"Two eliminations in one day... Heh, definitely unexpected," Knife mutters. Test-Tube glares at Baseball before walking away. Suitcase sighs and pats her friend on the back.

"Fan!" Test-Tube exclaims, "There you are. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to see you again."

Fan smiles a soft, genuine smile. Test-Tube sighs and pulls out his phone (that she repaired after it was shattered earlier) and whispers, "I'm really sorry, Fan. I know that everything that has happened has probably changed a lot between us..."

"A lot has changed," Fan admits, "But we'll get through it. I know we will."

"Together?" Test-Tube whispers. Fan takes her hand and says, "Together."

The two friends look back one last time before walking into the portal with content smiles.

Lightbulb watches from afar, tears in her eyes as her two remaining friends leave her behind.

"Cause some chaos while I'm gone, okay?" Test-Tube had said, "At least this show still has our brightest member left!"

"Brightest member left, e-ey?" Lightbulb whispers, "Thank you, Test-Tube."

After that night, MePhone decided to let the remaining contestants have a few days off to themselves. Most of them weren't stable mentally, especially MePhone himself.

He knew the truth about MePad letting Marshmallow escape. Despite this, a small part of him wished that he had just let that go. MePad was pretty much the only thing he had left to call a friend. After MePad had teleported away hours ago, he hadn't seen him since. MePad never missed a contestant elimination.

"Eh, he'll be back," MePhone had stated earlier. But, deep inside, MePhone was worried that this wouldn't be the case.

"If you'd join me."

"Join you in what?" MePad had asked, tilting his head to the side slightly.

"Join me in forgetting. Cobs, Inanimate Insanity, everything."

"Isn't that what Cobs wants us to do?" MePad had said, "To forget everything and be under his control? I think that we should just have trust in each other to get through this! Right? Right, MePhone?" MePad looked at MePhone, his eyes filled with hope. MePhone just chuckled without emotion and said, "Trust?"

MePad was a bit caught off-guard by MePhone's sudden change in tone, but remained silent.

"Why did you let Marshmallow escape?" MePhone says, "You thought I didn't know about that, now did you?" MePad averts his gaze, his heart filling with guilt. You see, MePad never had bad intentions. He simply wanted to give Marshmallow the chance to reacquaint with Apple.

"Then... I guess, what am I even doing here, then?" MePad teleports away, feeling nothing but guilt.

No matter how hard MePhone wanted to deny it, he really didn't intend to make MePad leave. Though his expression held an angry scoff, he felt like bursting into uncontrollable tears at that moment. Everything he cared about had seemingly gone into ash, at least in his mind. The reality show he had created to spite Cobs was actually under his creator's control, after all. Toilet was most definitely a traitor doing Cob's bidding, according to his mind.

"I just want to... Forget...," He whispered softly. He exited the cave, staring into the night sky. Is forgetting really the right thing to do? He thinks, MePad did have a point...

MePhone toggles through his settings, his finger ghosting over the memory erasure button. Before he had the chance to tap it, though, a small rocket in the night sky caught his eye. It was one of his contestants, attempting to save their friend.

A small smile tugs at his lips at the sight, no matter how hard he tried to stop it. His contestants were out there, trying to save their friend from Cobs, while he, the host, just ran away like a coward. He felt nothing but guilt at that moment and decided to delay the memory erasure for later.

It was currently past midnight. MePhone was relieved that Microphone had stopped Cobs (though we know that it isn't what actually happened), yet, he couldn't bring himself to rest his systems. A small part of him wanted to look for MePad, but his pride held him back from doing so.

"He'll come back," MePhone says, "I'm sure of it."

A small whisper in his mind says, Will he really, though?
