A/n: Tysm for the 100+ reads, this book is pretty much me experimenting my writing for another fandom- thanks for all of your support! I know I'm not doing the greatest, but please bear with me! <3

"It's a challenge to find this thing now?" Taco says, shuffling back into a nearby bush, "This could prove problematic... I really wish Microphone hadn't dropped out like that..." MePad was pretty much unscathed, except for a few wires sticking out here and there. MePad really didn't have much use to Taco, except for being a handy teleporter.

Taco had one mission-- to receive half of the million-dollar prize. She didn't care much about how she'd come across it. But, no matter what, she was determined to get it.

"A challenge... Hmm... Maybe I could convince one of the contestants to work with me... Definitely not Knife though." She congratulates herself on the idea and teleports after Lightbulb. She's not very smart, so she'll be easy to manipulate. She's also pretty fragile after her friends all left her behind. Poor, poor, soul. Taco teleports into the woods, placing MePad under a conveniently-placed rock. After taking mental notes of her whereabouts, she sets off for Lightbulb. She's got to be nearby, she thinks, after all, MePad's navigation system is always pretty accurate.

"I miss Baxter," Lightbulb says with a pout, "He'd know where MePad is hiding! But, it's okay, at least he's with Painty..."

There! Taco takes mental note. But how to convince her...

"Taco? What are you doin' here?" Lightbulb asks suddenly. Taco jumps in surprise, slightly fumbling with her words. "I, uh... Hi there, Lightbulb!"

"I didn't know you were a contestant..." Lightbulb narrows her eyes, causing a few beads of sweat to form on Taco's forehead. "Did you just decide to join? Are we on the same team?"

This could actually work out for the better, Taco thinks. "Yeah! MePhone asked me to aid you with this challenge."

"Oh, cool!" Lightbulb shrugs this off. Everyone knew that Lightbulb wasn't exactly the brightest (no pun intended) of the bunch. She had her own state of mind-- the others had learned to understand this and respect her.

"I think I have an idea where the MePad could be," Taco says. "Ooh, really?"

"Yes! But, before I tell you, can we make a deal?"

"A deal?" Lightbulb repeats, "A deal about what?"

"If I help you find MePad first, this will allow you to gain immunity along with your teammate. I'll help you do this if you'd be willing to compensate my help..."

"Com... pen... sate?" Lightbulb repeats, "Is that a country?"

"What? Ugh, no! What I'm asking is, would you be willing to split the prize you've won with me if I help you win." Lightbulb blinks for a moment, before lighting up. "O-Oh, you mean share some of my prize with you! Uhm, hmm..."

Lightbulb is practically a steal. There's no way she'd say no to this, she's too dumb to really understand what's going on...

"I'm sorry, Taco," she says, "But I couldn't."

"W-What?! Why?"

"Well," she chuckles sheepishly, "I promised Painty and Test-Tube that we'd all share it if I win..." Taco stares at her in disbelief. How could she make such a promise like that?

"I... Whatever," Taco scoffs, "Your loss." Taco walks away, grumbling to herself. How come the dumbest contestant won't even work for me? She's got to be in a terrible mental state after all her friends were forced to leave-- so how does she seem so... Stable...? Taco dismisses her thoughts and navigates herself back to MePad. She grunts as she lifts the rock... Only to find that MePad wasn't there.

"H-Huh? I could've sworn that I placed it beneath this rock... Hmm, maybe this one?" One after one, Taco lifted up many rocks. The mechanical body of MePad was nowhere to be found.

"How could this be?!" Taco exclaims in disbelief, "Could one of the contestants had found it already?! Preposterous!" Panic filled her mind as she looked beneath a few more rocks. This was the only way I could convince any of those stupid contestants!

"Whoever took it is going to pay," she whispers, "Oh, they'll pay for sure."
