Fuuneh and Gold loved the makeovers they got
Funneh even mentioned "looking cute" for the guy she liked
"Wait.. what? You like someone!?" Gold and you started questioning her
"Uh.. I didn't say anything! Anyways, we should uhm-" Funneh stumbled on her words
Although Yumi was usually serious, she insisted on teasing Funneh with the two of you
"Who is it? You can tell us. We're all good friends here"
"I don't even know what you're talking about! I didn't say anything!"
Yumi seemed to think for a bit, "Is it that redhead?"
"Redhead?" Gold asked
Funneh kept attempting to change the subject but Yumi kept asking about redheads and who it was that Funneh supposedly had a crush on
It was all fun and games until Yumi turned you and asked if you remembered him
"Redhead?" You repeated the question
"Yeah. In fact, I think we we're close friends"
"I mean.. there's quite a number of people with red hair, it could've been any of them"
She analyzed you for a bit. "I suppose." Is all she said

By now, the four of you laid off Funneh and her crush and decided to finally play the game Yumi anticipated so much in the beginning
The four of you cleaned Yumi's room and followed her to the console where the game was. Yumi handed all of you a headset and warned about the game
"Once you put on the headset, you can't talk if off untill you win or die"
Funneh looked at you, said "Interesting way of wording it", shrugged and put on her equipment

Opening your eyes, you saw your surroundings changed. Instead of a simple room, You were in a large building that resembled a school
Funneh and Gold stared in awe while Yumi began to play
The game seemed like any other game at first. All you had to do was eliminate NPCs and be the last ones standing.
The four of you went around, clearing the map from multiple locations at a time. Teamwork, right?
The longer you all spent in the game, the more unsettling it became. The music and the visuals made the environment seem grim. The gore didn't make you feel any better. Even if it was obviously fictional
"Guys.. I'm starting to not like this.. It's creepy and really unsettling" You could hear Gold say
Funneh and you agreed but continued playing as the virtual reality was also entertaining.
A few minutes later, Yumi called Gold into a room saying that she could help her get out of the game.
You and Funneh checked if anything was in the room and then stayed out in the hall to watch out for them, as the NPCs could also attack
Suddenly, You could hear someone from the room begin to take damage
"Hey what are you doing!? I'm going to get a game over!!" You looked in to see Gold trying her best to fight against Yumi's attacks
It was just a game, after all, so Funneh just started laughing and so did you
All of you were playing around and none of you had hard feelings
