Chapter four

Shikamaru point of veiw ~ We we're walking to the land of the waves with the bridge builder. Everything was relatively peaceful as everyone was talking amongst one another.

Except for Sai, Choji, Sasuke, Shino, Naruto and I. The four of us were just walking in silence until Kiba spoke "so Naruto how is like being hated by the entire village"Kiba asked "dude what the hell"Choji said

"What I want to know what it's like"Kiba said "I may not be good at emotions or care about peoples emotions but even I know that's something you should ask a person"Sai said "what it's just a harmless question"Menma said

"Waking up but wishing that you don't. Is something that I pray you'll never know"Naruto said not looking at us and we were silent at his answer.

We just continued to walk in silence once more. I don't know why but Naruto interest me. It's troublesome to deal with especially since he is like a puzzle piece that has so many missing pieces and pieces that just don't quite fit.

As if he could feel my eyes on him he sent me a glance and I could've sworn that his eyes were red for a moment but I could just be my imagination playing tricks on me. We really need to stop. I am way too tired to keep going. I wasn't the only one who was tired either. The sensei's looked fine along with Naruto. The rest of us including the client looked tired.

"Sensei's can we take a break"Naruto asked making them turn to him "why would we do that"Kakashi asked "besides the fact that your Genin and client are tired and hungry. The sun is also setting so it would be a good ideas to set up camp where we won't be found by enemy ninja. And almost all of us need to use the bathroom as well"Naruto said

"I guess you do have a point. There should be a place where we can set up camp"Asuma-Sensei said and we all silently thanked Naruto. We found somewhere to set up camp then we were split into groups to do different things.

Naruto, Sasuke and I were tasked with building a campfire "so I've never built a campfire before"I said "neither have I"Sasuke said "wow looks like there's something the two smartest people in our graduating class don't know how to do"Naruto said collecting rocks and putting them in a large circle.

He then started putting a bunch of dry leaves into the circle. Then placed sticks and wood in the middle. He then used two sticks and a few rocks. They sparked and he threw them into the pit and a fire was started.

"How'd you do that"Sasuke asked "survival 101"he answered. Naruto Uzumaki is one extraordinary and interesting kid. Soon the others came back with the supplies and food.

"Good job Sasuke and Shikamaru on building the fire"Kurenai said in a proud and motherly tone "it was actually Naruto"I said "really"she asked "yeah Naruto was the one who built the fire"Sasuke said "oh well good job then Naruto"Kurenai said with the same tone but not really as enthusiastic as before "yeah whatever"Naruto said

"So how many of you guys brought sleeping bags"Yamato asked and only Naruto, Hinata, and shino raised their hands "okay then the three of you who brought tents would you be willing to share with someone"Yamato asked

"I don't mind"Shino said her head in agreement "no thanks"Naruto said "how many people could fit in your tent Shino"Yamato asked "besides me four more"shino answered

"Naruto you are going to have to share then. The girls will be in a tent with Kurenai. Asuma, Kakashi, and I will be in a tent with the client in order to protect him. So you have to share"Yamato said trying to reason with Naruto.

"Ugh fine as long as it's not Menma or Kiba I'll share my tent. But whoever is sharing a tent with me better have a sleeping bag, pillow and blanket or else they are sleeping on the cold ground"Naruto said "okay Shikamaru, Sai and Sasuke why don't you share a tent with Naruto. Shino, Kiba, Menma and Choji will share a tent as well"Yamato said

Naruto just rolled his eyes putting up his tent. The tent looked like it could fit ten people in it "where'd you get the tent from"Kakashi asked "Teuchi-San gave it to me. It was his from when he was a ninja"Naruto asked "the ramen guy"the guys and I asked

"So you were following me. But yes that guy. Him and his daughter are the only ones who treat me like an actual human being and help me out when it comes to food and clothes"Naruto answered then he proceeded to ignore us.

After he said that he got me thinking about what does he mean by actually treating him like an actual human being. Why exactly everyone including his own family hate Naruto Uzumaki. That is something I need to find out.
