Naruto point of veiw ~ "So Neji what's with the seal on your forehead"I asked. It's been two weeks since we started training with Gai's team. They aren't all that bad. Unlike my graduating class they are smart enough to realize that I am not a demon and that I was only a baby when the nine tails was sealed in side of me.

I actually like the three of them. Gai is natural because of his loud ass personality but he is a much better sensei then Kakashi in my opinion. Even though I'm not his student he actually trained me like I was. Which was a refreshing change from only having four people in this village actually care about me.

"This is a cursed seal which binds me to the main house. Well technically the heir or heiress in this case. The cursed seal binds me to a life of servitude to the main house"he explains

"That's horrible. Is their away out of it"I asked "through death"he said "your basically like a caged bird and you can't control your own destiny because of it. Do you hate your family because of that"I asked

"if I'm being honest yes I do. I don't want to protect my cousins just because I'm bound to them I want to protect them because they are my family. But my cousins take that for granted because since I am bound to them I always need to protect them if they are in danger. Hinata doesn't train like she is supposed because she knows I'm always going to be there to protect her even if it cost me my life. And that honestly pissed me off"Neji said

"What if there was a way that you could still protect hinata with our being bound to her"I asked "I don't think that is possible Naruto"Neji said "well we could always take the seal off of you so you have control of your own destiny but your clan won't know it's off"I explain

"You can't actually do that"he asked with hope in his eyes "I can't but Mariana can"I said "are you sure because is don't want to get my hopes us"He asked then said in a sad tone "Hey Mariana can you come here for a second"I yelled and she stopped her training with Tenten to look over at me and walked my way while Takashi continued training with Tenten.

"What is it"she asked "are you able to take the seal of Neji and make sure his clan doesn't know about it at the same time"I asked and she fucked her teeth at me "that's child's play who the hell do you think I am"she hissed glaring at me

"Sorry I just didn't want to get his hopes up"I said "do you want to do it now"Mariana asked Neji "is it going to hurt like it did when they put it on me"Neji asked "no it's not"she said

"Okay"Neji said taking his headband protector off "I don't get why the Hyūga clan would use this seal to protect their kekkei Genkai after death. It's not like this seal actually does anything. It just makes you a servant of the heir. You can't learn the secrets of a kekkei Genkai with just someone's eyes you actually need to be compatible with that person in order to use their eyes and you need to either have Hyūga blood, uchiha blood or Ōtsutsuki blood in order to use the kekkei eyes to its full potential"Mariana explains

"I never knew that"Neji said "not many people do but I'm done. Now you two go back to training"Mariana said "thank you"Neji said "no problem not train the exams are in two weeks"Mariana said "yes ma'am"we both said and we continued our sparing session. I have a feeling that these chunin exams are going to be interesting.
