It was already bedtime by the time I finished checking answer sheets.Terminal exams were going on and papers were coming in like floods.I had to finish them as soon as possible because I had to visit my aunt the next day.
Yawning,I jumped onto the bed.
So exhausted.
I took my phone and began going through messages. I didn't have many contacts, thanks to my dunno-how-to-interact-with-people behavior. I felt like texting Edward. Last weekend seemed like it was ages ago.
Was I missing him? Maybe..
In the end I decided to text him. I sent him a 'Hi'. His ID was active. I wondered what he was doing. A few seconds later he texted me back.
"Sry, was handling a client 😪 What's up? " I paused for a second because I didn't want him to get the idea of me waiting eagerly for his reply.
