Edward exits his car quickly to approach the man that's unconscious on the floor, just beside Rosalie's car which is without a door. He immediately bends down beside the man to try to make him react.
-Sir, wake up. - He says hitting the man's cheeks for him to react
After a few seconds, Emmett, Jasper and Alice arrive in Emmett's car. She approaches Edward who tries to wake the man up. Emmett and Jasper approach Rosalie's car to inspect, realising immediately that there was a fight. Jasper suddenly stops after seeing a syringe on the floor along with a trace of ice that he recognizes instantly. He searches something to take the syringe to not leave any digital fingerprints and takes Juliette's glove that's on the sidewalk. He takes the syringe and starts inspecting it, he even starts to smell it.
-Jasper? - Emmett asks, trying to control his anger by not finding his partner
-They took them away. Apparently, Juliette wanted to defend Rosalie but there are ice traces along with one of her gloves. - Jasper says pointing at the sidewalk
-And the syringe? - Emmett asks approaching him
-Alice, take the man to Carlisle, tell him he's Juliette's father. - The pixie haired girl nods and with her brother's help, she puts the man in Emmett's car.
Edward approaches his brothers to try to find something.
-It looks like some type of anesthesia, but it's stronger and it doesn't have the usual colour if it. - Jasper says confused
Edward cusses, looking at the other glove of Juliette on the sidewalk. He approaches it slowly to take it and press it on his chest, trying to feel his girl near him.
-If her father's here, Juliette's fiancé took her. - Jasper says after thinking for a few seconds
Emmett and Edward kick Rosalie's car at the same time, getting it away from them, causing a great dent.
-So what do we do now? - Emmett asks, trying to control his desire of killing someone
Jasper thinks about it for a moment until he feels Juliette's scent. He frowns confused and starts walking, still holding the syringe, following her scent. He suddenly stops by seeing a black car parkes almost at the end of the street. he memorizes the license plate of the car before seeing a man exiting the hardware store with some ropes along with some tape.
-Isn't that Juliette's fiancé? - He asks himself confused
The other vampires get beside him, looking at the same direction as Jasper. Edward frowns immediately by seeing how Juliette's fiancé opens the backseat door. Before Emmett could go after him, Edward stops him by taking his arm strongly.
-They're Rosalie and Juliette's shoes. - Emmet says after seeing two paires of shoes getting out of the backseats at the moment the man opened the door
