The office was surprisingly quiet for it being a weekday. Usually, the office was crowded with people coming in and out of meetings with Mr. Stark and the company. It's only 3:39 PM so I'll just roll out the workday. I'm certainly not complaining about the quietness.
The long day went slower and slower as the work Mr. Stark has given me was pilling up. It was now 6:30 and I'm ready to finally get home. Fridays are usually a night that I would take for myself to readjust back into a non-work environment.

What the hell? Who's calling me at this hour? I grab my phone from my desk and open it. Ariel <3 is calling. My finger slips the accept button and I hold the phone close to my ear.
"Girly, a new club opened up downtown. WE NEED TO GO!" Ariel screamed and I backed the phone away from my ear.
"Girl, you know I don't do stuff like that. Even if it's a Friday night. I would rather be in MY bed." Mentally rolled my eyes into the back of my head.
"Pleaseeeeeeeee? I'll pay for you." I take a deep breathe. "Fine, pick me up in 30." Ariel squeals through the phone and I start to giggle. "Okay, I'll see you in a bit bestie." The line cuts and I put my phone down.
