11 Months Later...

8:30 AM
The morning sun started to spread onto my face as I began to wake up. My eyes were half-opened when I saw one of the most beautiful things I'd seen in a good minute. All my girls cuddled each other as they peacefully snored away. Ximena held Malena and Giulia to each of her sides while Marianna and Sofia held onto my sides. Ximena also had our newest baby girl sprawled out on her chest. Little Alexandria peacefully slept away in the warmth of her Mama. I smiled as I just began to think about the last 8 years with Ximena until something in my mind kicked in. It's Ximena's birthday and 9 big ass things of roses should be getting delivered soon.
I mentally scream in my head as I'm forced to leave the warmth of my bed as I walk to the kitchen and prepare a family birthday breakfast for our favorite Mama. I rummage through the pantry as I take out the ingredients to make French toast with chopped-up strawberries that are lightly coated with strawberries. French toast was a special breakfast me and my Mama used to make together and now I'm passing the torch down to my kids.
