The makeup artist lightly dabs some loose powder onto my face as another person curls the bottoms of my hair. Today is the day that I've been dreaming of since I was a little girl. The day I marry the absolute love of my life. We decided to not have a big wedding and ceremony since we just want it to be personal with our close loved ones. Santi had his room down the hall so that we wouldn't see each other until the actual ceremony. Ariel walked into the bedroom with her tight maroon dress and red hair.
"You look so beautiful, Hermana." Ariel sniffed out as she whipped a tear away. I laughed at her as the makeup artist finished and lightly sprayed the setting spray on me. "And we're done, Mrs. Romero." They both said as they gave me a small mirror to look at myself. My tan skin looked amazing with dark red lipstick plastered onto my lips. My hair had curls throughout and felt soft. I quietly thanked them as they left the room and soft little grunts made their way into the bedroom from the bathroom. "Maaamaaaaaa." A small voice on the floor whimpered out. Malena had the cutest white flower girl dress on with her soft curls smoothed out. I picked her up as she attempted to clap her hands together. "Mama and Papa are getting married today, my love." I kissed her sweet cheeks as a few giggles came out of her and Ariel observed us with a big smile. "It's time to put your dress on," Ariel said as I gave Malena a big kiss on her chunky cheek. "Let's get this started."
