Blood stains are really hard to remove

^^ That's sort of what I imagined Y/n's room to look like

Y/n's POV

The bars of the cell seemed to close in on me as I leaned against the hard stone wall

The exhaustion crept into my bones as I put my head between my knees to stop the world from spinning... spinning... spinning...

"Y/n!" a voice called out from the cell right beside, "Y/n, you have to get up!"

"Tired" I groaned

The fresh round of experimentation had taken a toll

The voice seemed to understand as I felt a warm body lean against me, the cold bars of the cell just separating us

"Just remember" the voice said gently, "We're in this together"

"All the way" I murmured reflexively

"All the way..."

I woke up with a jolt, as I was pulled from the terrible memories that haunted my past

I found myself sprawled on my bed, in the room

I must've fallen asleep...

"Miss Friday, what time is it?" I asked the AI in the ceiling

"Close to midnight Y/n"

It was the perfect time to leave...

Everyone would be asleep by now, right?

But first I had to find out how they were tracking me, so they wouldn't come looking

I searched through my memories, to find out when they would've had a chance to put me under tracking

"Shit" I muttered, as I realised exactly when they had put in the tracker

And removing it was going to bring along a whole lotta pain

I grabbed the beat up, old backpack that I had brought to the compound, opening a tiny, almost unnoticeable compartment in it and pulling out a small blade

I looked away and stabbed the pocketknife into my arm, where the dart had hit me, only a few weeks ago

It had felt like so much longer...

I gasped in pain as the wound began to gush with my dark red blood, but before I could chicken out, I pulled a small disk that was unmistakably a tracker

"Have fun tracking this lamp" I muttered, as I wiped the tracker clean of my blood and put it on the stand of the lamp next to my bed

Some of the blood from my arm dripped onto the bed and on the floor

Shit.

Blood stains were really hard to remove. I knew that from experience.

"Y/n, you have to wrap up that cut before you lose too much blood" Friday said suddenly

I jumped with fright. I had completely forgotten that she was there

"I cannot inform Mr. Stark of this injury as he has his lab on lockdown, but I WILL get Miss Romanoff or Mr. Barton over here if you do not stop the blood flow" She said strictly

"Fine, fine!" I said hurriedly, "Don't call anybody!"

I grabbed one of the random cloths that were hanging in the closet and I ripped it in half to create a makeshift bandage.

I wrapped it around my arm, and winced as it tightened around the injured place

It was time to go...

I gave myself one last glance at the place that had started to feel like home
