You two had an abusive relationship. He'd hit you and you hit him right back. First it started by him leaving bruises on your arms. So when he left a mark on your face you left one too. You threatened to expose him if he did not quit. And it did for a while.
Eventually the fighting started again when you found out he was sneaking out on you. So naturally you broke both of his hands so he wouldn't be able to play the drum or even wank off. Even though you both thought each other completely mental but he knew you'd fight back so it stopped. The fighting. You called it quits and of course that set him off too.
