Part 26: Bucky Barnes

He remembers. He remembers you. Seeing Steve brought back memories He has had suppressed for so long. Steve saves him and when he hears you died it kills him. He finds out it wasn't old age liked he wanted for you instead it was suicide.

When you found out about him dying you had died inside. You knew in that moment that you could not live in a world where he no longer existed. One day you were on one of your walks when you come to a bridge.

You had always been scared of heights so when he found out you jumped it killed him. He blamed himself. If he never left, never died you would of died peacefully and that's his biggest regret.

So when Steve returns the infinity stones he knew what he had to do. He had to save you, bring you back with him even if it changed everything.

So when you come face to face with bucky you lose it. He runs to you and catches you before you fall to the ground. You reach for his face to make sure you weren't dreaming. "I thought you were dead, they told me you died" you say and he tells you "I didn't I am here".

You look around confused, everything looks different. "Where am?" You ask. He pulls you up and makes you look at him. "It's 2023 Steve went back and brought you back to me" he says and you are even more confused.

"Then how are you both here? Wouldn't you two be dead too" you ask. "It's a long story I will explain later. But baby I missed you so much" he says kissing you.

You wrap your arms around his neck laying your head on his chest listening to his heart beat. Helping you believe you truly were not dreaming. "I missed you so much it's unreal" you both look at each other. "Let's go catch up" he says and you nod following him. You stop and run to Steve hugging him. "Thank you for bringing to him" you say and kiss his cheek.

"You are welcome Y/N" he yells as you run back to bucky. You both walk into the house and catch up.
