"Home? Mukha ba akong home?!" Naggigigil kong untag.

"I said slow down, Olivia," Nikolo hissed. "O ako na babangga sa'yo."

"Ewan ko sa'yo! Get lost, dude!" I tipsily fired back. I ended the call and gritted my teeth.

"Hah! He is so confusing! Ang kapal ng mukha niyang bitawan ang mga ganung klaseng salita kahit na pamilyado na siyang tao!" I ranted alone.

My emotions are surging inside me and I don't think I can handle them properly. I feel mad. Devastated. Annoyed. Irritated. Confused. No man has ever made me feel this way but him!

Captain Esguerra was really persistent. After a few minutes, when I glanced at the rear view mirror, he was tailing behind me. He didn't really let me out of his sight and followed me until I'm back home. Of course I drove myself sa bahay, not to my condo. Ayokong malaman niya kung saan ang bagong condo ko, haler!

He used his old number to call me. I pressed my lips tight and calmed my nerves.

The nerve to even text me before I sleep! I bit my lip because I can feel an abnormal shiver run down my spine. I couldn't explain the feeling but I am sure that I am irritated at Captain Esguerra.

"Morning, Ma," I kissed her cheek. "O, why are you so dressed up? Anong lakad mo today?"

"I have a date," she giggled.

"Is it the captain you were flirting with last time?"

"Hindi, anak," she smiled. "Ayoko ng kapitan kasi diba kapitan din sa'yo?"

"Mommy what the hell are you saying?" I gasped outloud while she just smiled sweetly.

"Oh, don't be too shocked! Alam mo anak, minsan ang sarap mong batukan," she sighed. "Manhid ka na nga, hindi mo pa alam mag-research."

"Pinagsasasabi mo, Mommy?"

"Wala! I'll go na. I have to be early for my date! I love you!" She kissed my cheek before running away, leaving me confused with her statements.

As usual, I didn't have breakfast. When I went to the company, the staffs greeted me. I was already running a little late so I quickened my pace and got inside the elevator.

I was steadying my breath when the lift opened two floors before the top floor. I was taken aback when I saw Captain Esguerra and Captain Gonzales.

"Uy, hi po, Ma'am Livy," Vince smiled cheekily pagkapasok nila.

"Good morning, Vince," tumango ako. Napansin kong kinalabit niya si Nikolo na diretso lang ang tingin sa pader.

"Cap, mag-good morning ka kasi. Dagdag pogi points," bumubulong siya pero rinig na rinig ko naman!

Captain Esguerra cleared his throat and looked at me. "Good morning, Ma'am," pormal niyang sabi.

My lips parted but I quickly composed myself. O, ano Livy? Bumati lang hindi ka na makapagsalita?!

"Good morning, Captain Esguerra," I said.

Natahimik na kaming lahat pagkatapos nun. Vince took his phone out. I can see him from my peripheral vision as he raised it and took selfie.
