You lumbered down the hallways, your eyes forward and focus on getting to your next destination. You've been here long enough to walk yourself around without the aid of a pearl, which didn't particularly bother you like it used to, but it was certainly a boring trip without the blue pearl to listen to.
The only attention you'd receive was the wide-eyed glances from the occasional gem that would walk down the normally sparse hallways. Of course this was nothing new, and you payed no attention to it, but you couldn't deny that there were sometimes where they'd either stare at you longer than usual or give you double glances, like they were confirming what they saw.
Because, since you've been here, your form has altered and changed to adapt to the harshness of your home.
Your fluffy mane has lost its volume, and had become short and matted as a result of the constant dirt and sweat matting it down and with to Jasper constantly throwing you across numerous clearings, your mane was practically filed down from the various times you skid across the dry, course grounds. However, your bangs thankfully remained unscathed, and they worked like a one way mirror; you've adapted to peering through the thick brush of fur, but no one could see your eyes.
This came in handy when you'd roll your eyes during a lecture on your duties or glared spitefully at hearing the complaints about "off-colors" or "defects" that were recently shattered from the numerous commanders and managers you've come across. The only time you'd ever move them was during the training sessions, so you had maximum clarity.
Your horns had long since lost their (shape) appearance, and they were instead long and slender, the sharp tips always pointed forward.
Your mouth was not only endowed with sharp barbs, but it was now full of equally sharp, long (color) teeth. Your jaw itself had become even more powerful than that of a alligator's grip, as it had crushed various boulders that were thrown at you. You could easily crush 500 pounds in your maw. And coupled with the scalding hot of your saliva, it would make for devastating damage.
Your limbs had become solid with strength as well, becoming just as muscular looking as your trainer's.
Your arms had bulked out, with massive paws, fully capable of punching through solid cinder block with a single blow, or destabilizing a gem with a single slash of your clawed fingers. Your hind legs had also grown as well, thanks from the many attempts of throwing her off during the more hands-on combat sessions. And your hooves had hardened that had were than the rocky grounds you jasper had you tromp across. A single buck from them could destabilize a gem, and quite frankly break both gemstones and organics.
Your size as a whole grew as well, to the point that Jasper had to crane her head just to look up at your face. You also had the muscled physique of a shire horse, though your strength would put the earth creature to shame.
Even the simple thudding of your paws and hooves hitting the ground as you walked sent small, quakes through the area.
But these weren't the only things that would steal the spying gem's attention.
Most of the attention was on the blemishes that you've received from the many, merciless training sessions you've endured.
That trait alone wasn't even heard of amongst gemkind.
It was simple; a gem takes a great deal of damage, they destabilize, fix themselves up, and reform.
But for whatever reason, you just didn't.
No, instead of just destabilizing like a normal gem would after dealing great damage... you'd receive wounds that would leak a (color) fluid similar to (substance). And then they'd leave the marks that covered most of your exposed skin. Multiple (color) scars of various sizes were practically stamped all across your massive frame. All of them ranging from scuff marks to cuts you've received from the sharp edged obstacle courses jasper made you run through.
It was a jarring trait that added tribute to your mysterious past. What kind of gem displayed something organics do when injured? Surprisingly however, even after the discovery was made, jasper didn't seem to care enough about it to report it to the diamonds.
After all, it was probably just a corruption side-effect or something.
But that shouldn't matter. What's a few marks to show you were actually trying to contribute?
So you ignored the stares of the prissy jewels around you, as you continued your way down the hallways, your mind focused on completing your next task before-
"Ahem! (Name) (Gem)."
You paused your stride at a voice calling to you. closed your eyes, exhaling sharply through your nostrils. You really didn't want to pause your streak, given that time wasn't something to be wasted on this planet. But, again, you weren't in any position to ignore whoever this was. So you did your reluctance and turned your attention to whom was calling to you.
You were greeted by the sight of both yellow and blue's pearl stand side by side like they usually did, though blue pearl was fiddling with her hands while yellow pearl radiated an air of uncertainty. They were still getting used to your new size and appearance. Seeing they had your attention, Yellow pearl cleared her throat and held her head up, trying to mask her apprehension. "Our diamonds require your presence."
You held back a snort. What could they possibly want with you now? You've stayed in their lines, you've followed their protocols, what more could you have done? Perhaps this is simply a review or something. But regardless of what the reason was, you had no choice in it.
So you simply nodded with an inaudible grunt. You've learned that the sooner you do something, the quicker it'll be over.
Both pearls nodded and with a quick gesture to follow, the three of you strolled down the hall.
