After you get finished prepping up, you're lead down the hall that lead to the launch bay, with Peridot holding your reins while jasper walked ahead of you both, walking with a bit more of an arrogant stride. While you couldn't see it, you knew jasper had a cocksure grin on her face, especially with some of the comments of the passing inhabitants of the palace.
"Wow, look at how much it's changed now..."
"That jasper really knows how to train a gem. A Corrupt one to! Very impressive."
"That corrupt (gem)'s really adjusted well. Good on her for pulling through."
"I wonder if she remembers who she was..."
She took great pride everyone's reactions to your "upgrade", whether it was regarding your sheer growth size, how you were eerily calm and quiet or unwavering loyalty and obedience, Jasper was pleased with the results of her training. By instilling submission and objects into a gem that's 3× her size, but she proven that she's one of the most power gem among her type.
It was her training that made you such a powerful asset to her empire. Her greatest achievement. And when this mission is complete, her beta roots won't matter.
...perhaps, she should find more recruits to train while she was at it...
You, however, didn't think about anything but getting the task over and done with. Part of you, for just a second, thought that it was strange how you didn't use a warp pad to get to the launch bay, but another part suspected she took this long way to show you off, like some sort of trophy, to boost her already massive but frail ego.
You sneered in the back of your mind, but to her credit, her methods, while brutal, made you more tolerant towards the bewildered looks and barbed comments you'd often be subjected to, since she used much harsher words to fuel you.
...actually, you couldn't tell if you were used to it, or just numb to it.
However, you didn't think too deeply on the matter. Thinking in general is too much of a distraction to begin with; you found that it was much easier to simply ignore everything but the orders you were given. It almost felt as though you were a machine as you practically watched yourself go through your day to day tasks, with little to no feelings to boot.
But you learned not to let it bother you anymore.
Because in truth, nothing else mattered to you anymore.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~You come upto a massive green hand ship of some sort, one that mirrored one of the diamond's ships, though it was obviously much shorter than the original. Upon entering, you're met with an interior similar to the inclosure that brought you to this damned planet.
The memory alone made your skin crawl, but you couldn't bring yourself to feel angry anymore. You simply followed Peridot, who lead you to what looks like another cell of some type, only instead of a high power energy screen like before, it looked similar to that of a stable, with a transparent green, crystalline gate that you could peek over the gate. With a press of a button, it slides open, and you automatically you walked into the makeshift stable.
You found that it was aligned with cushions and the ground within it was actually covered with a very soft and plush fabric. There even a medium sized diamond shaped screen and speaker available on the wall, as well as a keypad beside it. It was actually pretty cozy.
This was inwardly a bit of a surprise for you, given that you've long since grown used to such luxury being preserved for the "higher-ups."
"Let me just make sure everything is functioning properly..." Peridot murmured, entering your stall and tapping at the screen and fiddling with the keypad installed in your room, while you sat down, idly watching and waiting for your next order.
As you watched Peridot set up your screen, you heard Jasper's voice behind you, taunting whomever was in there like she normally did.
"Don't try anything funny, brat." She snarled. You imagined she was pointing a finger in the victim's face.
"Wouldn't want to have my companion here teach you a lesson."
You instinctively turn your head towards the source, just in time to watch jasper step aside to gesture to you, and your gaze fell upon a lean gem huddled on the ground in her cell, with her knees upto her chest. She looked like most of the gems from blue diamond's court; completely blue from head to toe. When you both locked eyes, the blue gem's went wide in what you can only assume was fear. You sneered back at her on instinct, sending a puff of steam out of your nostrils as a warning. Jasper snickered, going over to give you a rough pat on the head. "Can't wait to see the look on those Crystal Gem's faces."
With that, she departs alongside Peridot, who finished up with the last of the programming. "There." She turned to you and lifted up your forepaws, running a floating finger over your metal clad paw. "...you know how to work these, yes?" She asked, with a lifted brow, to which you gave a single nod of affirmination. She nodded in response with a satisfied look and backed out of the stall. "It'll be a while before we reach earth. Do try and... recharge while we wait."
With that, she pressed a button and the see-through gate slid shut, locking with a click.
You huffed softly through your nostrils, laying yourself out on the ground. You knew gems didn't need sleep to recharge energy, but you weren't one to complain at the given down time you were often denied of. With another soft snort through your nostrils, you let your eyes shut and zone out, ignoring the hard staring of the blue captive in the cell parallel to yours...
