Here is a silly little poem I wrote recently  about thinking, and specifically some of the philosophers in my  RE (philosophy, ethics and theology) Alevel. I want to do Philosophy with a minor in art history at university Edit: I study philosophy now at Dundee university

I was thinking about the apple

But it wasn't thinking about me

I was thinking about the moon and sun.

But they were not thinking about me.

I was thinking of the Greeks.

But they were not thinking of me

I was thinking of the enlightenment and beyond, of Aquinas, Kant and Bentham.

I was thinking of this and so many more, but they were not thinking of me.

Weaving new coats in class. Sticking patches on my own thoughts. A jumble of old on new. Socrates and Plato, Aristotle, Kant Bentham and me. But they could not think of me.

But it didn't matter I was thinking of them.
