Challenging myself to write a poem that is 9 lines, starting with 9 syllables and getting one less each time. This is known as a nonet and if you guys would like to try it is 9 lines, but you could just pick any amount of lines you want and let the syllables of the lines get one less till the last line just has one syllable. Let's see if I can do it.
fog plays the gently flowing river
and the world is beset with chill
early spring has shown its face
against the dead grey skies
but the sun does rise
to clearer skies
tinged reddish
yellow
now
This was actually quite hard at points to get in the right amount of syllables and Sorry if I miss calculated any, but I hope you liked my attempt.
