Usually, Void only uses Charizard, Sceptile, and Articuno for battles. Darkrai, Mew, and Zekrom are just a part of his backstory, but they do tend to follow him around(never to go into pokémon fights, though).

Personality| As mysterious and brooding as he may seem, Void is a young man who treats his friends and pokémon well. He isn't as social as a regular person, yet he tends to hold rather interesting conversations. When he is with his pokémon, he shows this innocent, boyish side that only his pokémon would understand completely. He is an sadistic amuser nonetheless.
History| When he was young, Void moved from Unova all the way to Hoenn. His partner pokémon, Charizard, who was a Charmeleon at the time, struggled with him through all of his troubles as a kid who could barely understand the new land. It wasn't long after he moved that he had come to his first encounter with a legendary pokémon. At midnight, he and his Charmeleon sat by a fire and waited the night away. Nova glanced up to the starry sky and spotted an oddly green line slither through the atmosphere. A large asteroid had come rolling in closer than expected, but before Nova knew it, the green sliver crashed into it with immense force, breaking it to shards before eating the rocks. From the sky, a shard of blue fell down nearby Nova's camp. His Charmeleon rushed to it and brought it back. In his claws was a Charizardite X. Entranced by the mysterious legends, Nova sought out to find and capture the god of the sky, Raquaza; the pokémon he read about in books after his curious encounter with the asteroid, the legendary pokémon, and his new mega stone. He and his Charmeleon had gone through many rough edges during their journey, yet they had come across many spectaculars such as obtaining Latios, meeting high figures and role models, and eventually, he and his newly formed team encountered the almighty Raquaza and challenged it. Years later, Void and his team had battled many opponents, yet none have been strong enough to defeat him and his new partner, Raquaza.
