Cadmus POV

I look up the sky and saw my pheonix flying towards me. Nakita ko agad ang isang papel na nakatali sa paa nito. She write back? I lift my hand and sign my troops to stop and they did. Lumingon ako sa kanila na nagtataka sa aking utos.

"Rest here. I'll be back in a minute," I mumbled and get off the horse. Itinali ko ito sa isang puno, dumapo naman sa aking balikat ang ibon. It lifted his feet showing the message.

Nagtataka lamang ako kung bakit tila takot na takot ito at nanginginig. I remember Thela's face whenever I command her to stay inside the room.
Such a beast mode.

No wonder, the bird looks traumatized.

I open the folds and read the message.

I clenched the paper and burn it. Damn that woman! Hindi talaga marunong makinig!

*go back at the palace and guard that woman!*

Utos ko sa ibon, agad naman itong lumipad pabalik. Bwisit na babae! Ano't iniiisip niyang lumabas sa palasyong iyon! Imposibleng hindi niya narinig ang usapan na maraming halimaw ang umaaligid sa palasyo! Ugh! She's getting on my nerves! Kung hindi lang siya isang Sylvaine, ako na mismo ang nagbigay sa kaniya sa mga halimaw na iyon! What a bitch!

Mabilis kong kinalas ang tali ng kabayo at sumakay dito pabalik sa iba pa.

I found them fixing their things. Agad napunta kay Rand ang aking atensyon na kausap ang isang knight na pinagbantay ko sa labas ng pader ng palasyo.

This is not good.

"Why are you here?", I coldly ask and he bow. Pansin kong pawis na pawis ito habang pagod na pagod ang kanyang sinakyang kabayo. What's the reason he went here that fast?

"L-lord Kreost, w-we saw a vampire around the back of the boarder! H-he's looking intently at the East wing of the castle!", he mumbled and sigh heavily.

I flinch and tighten the grip on my sword. Vampire...staring at the East wing where Thela is. Damn that prick!

"Rand, surround the boarder quick. I'll handle something and then I will follow you soon. The vampire want to tresspass on my castle," I muttered and leave them in an instant.

Hindi ko na hinintay ang reaksyon nilang lahat. What I need to do is to ensure that she is safe. Her presence....need to be gone.

Thela's POV

"Mama....." , agad akong nagmulat ng aking mata matapos marinig ang boses na iyon. It sounds like my voice when I was a child. But, who was the owner?

Madilim, malamig, at puro huni ng mga kuliglig ang aking naririnig. Did I escape on the castle? Sa tingin ko ay hindi naman dahil hindi ko natatandaan na umalis ako o tumakas. Then where the heck I am?

"Mama," I stand up and saw that I am inside an open field surrounded with oak trees. Maganda sana kaso....may malaking sunog na nagmumula sa gitna ng gubat!
