Chapter 25: Gate of Abyss

    Mahigpit ang hawak ko sa aking binabasang libro patungkol sa bow ng Sylvaine at Varthandra. I feel awkward because since the intimate...moment Cadmus and I did. He always tag along with me in the library. Ayaw niya akong tantanan!
   Tapos nakatitig pa siya sa akin ngayon! Ang sama-sama na naman ng tingin niya sa libro. Hinayaan ko na nga na makuha niya first kiss ko tapos— Shit! Thinking of it makes me feel warm. At nandito kami sa library.

   I calm myself and focus on reading the book.

   Sylvaine family are the only direct descendant of the Gods and Goddesses.

   Napatigil ako sa pagbabasa ng makita ang larawan ng isang puting gate. I glance at Cadmus who's watching me.
   "Nakita mo na ang gate na ito? How did you draw this?", I asked. Hindi kasi ako pwedeng magkamali. Ito ang gate kung saan inihagis ako ni Aunt Adelina.
  Umayos ito ng upo bago sumagot.

  "I saw it on your past and fount out that you've been thrown away inside that gate. I tried to find it but I can't see it no matter how I search," he answered.

   Binasa ko naman ang nakasulat patungkol sa gate.

    Gate of Abyss
   The bridge between two worlds. One with no creature with power of nature exist. And one where all creature with the power of nature lives. It is one of the gates of dimension that the bow created. The only gate that only a Sylvaine could see and open.

  Malakas kong isinara ang libro at tumayo. I look firmly at him.

  "Come with me," he raised a brow.
   "You know where it is?", he asked.
  I rolled my eyes in frustration.

   "Malamang! Kaya nga ako nagpapasama eh!", irita kong saad dito. He sighed.
   "It's dangerous Aithela," babaa nito sa akin. I smiled at him telling that he don't have to be worried.
    "What are you planning to do?", he ask looking so suspiscious at me.

   "Do you wanna meet the fallen commander of Varthandra?", nagulat siya sa aking tanong. Umawang ang kanyang labi at hindi makapaniwalang tumingin sa akin.
   "We'll cross the abyss," anas ko pa na ikinabago ng kanyang emosyon.

   "You can't! What if we got lost and never find the way back? What are you planning to do wife? I couldn't lost you again!", he panicked and look with so much fear.
   Niyakap ko siya para pakalmahin. He hug me back so tight and buried his face on my left shoulder.

   "Susubukan lang naman natin na pumasok doon. I need an answer from my father. Gusto kong malaman kung paano siya nabuhay at paani siya napunta sa mundong iyon," paliwanag ko sa kanya. Mas hinigpitan pa niya ang yakap. I could sense his fear, he's even trembling.
   "Don't worry Cadmus. I'm the future of Calypse. I need to know it all before I decide the best thing to do with all of this," mahina kong anas sa kanya.

   Nag-angat siya ng tingin at laking gulat ko na lang ng angkinin niya ang labi ko. This man surely can't control his self. It was a quick kiss because I had to cut it. Baka makalimutan kong may pupuntahan kami.

   Nagsuot ng pandigma si Cadmus at sinamaan ko ito ng tingin. Baliw ba siya? Ano? We will cross the gate and then the people from the other world will look at him. Papagkamalan pa siyang costplayer.
