Nat POV:
I heard whimpering on the baby monitor as I lay in bed. The sun was only just coming through the curtains and I'd been awake for about 30 minutes. But as Y/N made me aware that she was awake, I got up from my bed and walked into the nursery, which was attached to my bedroom.

Her crib was against the back wall and as I walked over I saw my baby slowly opening her eyes as she yawned. Her pacifier was laying on the mattress next to her and I couldn't help but smile. I reached down and took her out of her swaddle, laughing as she stretched her arms above her head.

"Morning baby girl" I said as I quickly open her curtains. I heard her whine so I hurried back over to see her holding her arms out to me. "Oh you're getting so big missy!" I groaned as I picked her up.

Her big green eyes blinked back at me and she smiled before yawning again. I pressed kisses all over her face and her little giggle gave me butterflies in my stomach. She squealed and kicked her little chubby legs as I blew a raspberry on her cheek. Her laugh was my favourite thing ever.

"Come on you little stinker, let's get you out of that diaper." I carried her over to the changing table and laid her down. Her forehead creased into a frown as I laid her down and she reached out for me again but I shook my head. "I'm sorry baby, I'll be quick."

Seeing her eyes fill with tears as I took her out of her onesie, I started singing her favourite lullaby to keep her from crying. Her eyes were fixated on me as I sang, so I changed her diaper as quickly as possible before she cried again.

Once she was changed I didn't put her in a clean onesie as mornings are our bonding time. It was around 6:30 so there was no need for us to be downstairs any time soon. I carried my still sleepy baby into my room and placed her on my bed. I climbed under the covers after taking off my tank top so we could cuddle. Y/N was a sucker for skin to skin contact, and I can't lie, so was I. I turned on an episode of Greys Anatomy and picked Y/N up so she was laying on my chest.

Her tiny hand reached up to my hair and she wrapped it in her fingers. She was surprisingly gentle, so I wasn't too bothered. I didn't watch the tv, instead I never took my eyes off her face. She was my little miracle, and everyday I remind myself just how lucky I am.

I ran my index finger down the bridge of her nose, watching as her eyelashes fluttered as she blinked. Her fingers moved from my hair and grabbed my finger, only just big enough to wrap around it. My heart clenched with love.

"You don't know how much I love you." I whispered to her as she looked directly into my eyes. We both lay there for a bit before she started fussing. Moving her tiny body into my arm, I shifted her down so she was able to latch on to my breast. If there's one thing this baby can do, it's eat. She only cries if she's hungry or tired, but she's also really fussy. We end up switching sides maybe 4 or 5 times each feed because someone wants both boobs. Not just one.

And today was no exception. She'd fed for no more than 10 minutes before she unlatched and started wriggling, signalling to me that she wanted to switch. I moved her over so her head was now by my right nipple and she hungrily latched on. The room was fairly quiet, just the sounds of her suckles and the faint mumbling of the tv could be heard.

Another 10 minutes passed before she latched off again, signalling to me that she was done. I stood up and held her up to my shoulder to burp her. I bounced her up and down gently as I rubbed her back and she let out the cutest coos as I moved. She really is Mama's girl.

The sun felt really warm as I moved in front of the window, so I decided to change Y/N into a lighter onesie, so she wouldn't get too hot later on. I threw on an oversized t-shirt before we were abruptly interrupted by a knock on the door.
