Nat placed the envelope on the table in front of Y/N, where the brunette was currently typing away on her computer. But Y/N didn't look up and she barely paid her girlfriend any attention.

Nat cleared her throat loudly, nonchalantly leaning on the back of the chair in front of her, laughing slightly at how oblivious Y/N was being.

But still no response. Nat rolled her eyes and slammed the lid of the laptop closed. This finally got Y/N's attention.

"What?" She groaned, trying to prise her computer back from Nat's fingers so she could finish her english essay.

"For a straight A student you really are dumb sometimes." Nat commented, raising one eyebrow at Y/N's horrified expression. "I've been trying to get your attention, but clearly your homework is more interesting."

Y/N rolled her eyes and stretched her arms up, slowly rolling her neck to ease the tension that had built up. "What is so important then huh?"

Nat took a seat on the chair and folded her arms. "Well, why don't you use those pretty eyes and look, hmm?"

Y/N's gaze drifted across the table until she spotted the envelope and slid it towards her, not even caring as she tore it open. Her face ran through all of the emotions as she read through the contents and Nat couldn't help but laugh as she watched the confusion turn to complete elation.

"We're going to disneyland?" Y/N asked, sounding very much like a hopeful toddler.

"Yes. We are going to disneyland."

"When? When!" Y/N leaped up out of her chair and ran to tackle Nat into a hug, taking the redhead by surprise.

As Y/N pulled away, Nat grabbed her hands and gave them both a kiss. "Did you actually read anything in there?"

Y/N looked down. "I saw the word disneyland and got distracted." She mumbled, pouting ever so slightly.

"You're adorable. We are going today babes!"

Y/N let out a squeal and raced out of the room, yelling over her shoulder about picking out the perfect outfit. Nat just smiled, loving how her girlfriend had gone from being so stressed out to now having the biggest smile on her face.

Yes it was only 7am, but Nat already felt the energy buzzing through her veins. This was going to be the cutest day every.

It took an hour for the girls to get ready and then Nat drove 45 minutes to disneyland as Y/N belted out songs from the movies, including doing all the voices and accents. She was adorable, especially when singing "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" as Y/N did the little roars as well. Nat had to bite her lip to stop herself awwing out loud.

The signposts suddenly started showing Disneyland and both girls were grinning like crazy. Natasha had been planning this trip for an embarrassingly long time and she couldn't help but feel giddy at the thought of the day finally being here. And the smile on Y/N's face was so worth it.

She managed to find a parking space surprisingly  quickly and had barely turned off the car before Y/N jumped out, running to the front to try and spot the welcome sign.
