Maybe This Time

Part 20

I woke up to Sandro kissing me on the cheek. He had to leave because of an early event

I went to the main house and got Sandy from Manang to get him dressed dahil magsisimba kami nila mom and pops.

"Where's Sandro darling?" Mom asked after breakfast

"May event ma, i didnt ask na po kung saan" hindi na rin siya ng tanung uli

Nagsimba na kami  sa church sa Paoay.
"Alam mo anak this is the best church to have a wedding dont you think?" She held my arm smiling.

"'Mom, we just got back together" i tried to smile at her.

After the mass kumain na kami sa labas. We meet tita Myra, Matt, Carla and Mia at restaurant.

"Pa asan si Vincent?" I asked pops dahil si Vincent na lang ata wala dito sa lunch

"Hinatid lang sa airport girlfriend niya but he'll join us" he answered me

"Pick you up at 7?" Carla said to me while eating
I just nodded hindi na ako ganun ka excited for later.

"Cheere up Eli, its just politics" mathew said, alam niya how i felt about Sandro and his miss ilocos norte partner at the party

I sighed wala nman na ako magagawa, I tried to enjoy lunch with the family.

Sandy is so used to having his lola and lolo around mhirap nanaman siya iuwi sa Manila.
We spent the afternoon at the hotel. Sandro called to update and he'll see me at the party.

We went home to the mansion to Preapare for the party. Carla called a make up artist she knew to work on us. Sandy was in the room while i was getting made up

"Dirty mama, dirty your face" he ponited at my face. Natatawa kami ni manang sakanya hindi siguro siya sanay na naka-make up ako.
Nung tapos na ako ayusin sinuot ko na ang gown na nabili ko.

"Wow naman Elisse! Mukha kang diwata sa suot mo, perfect" bati ni Manang Clara. Agad nman namula ang mga pisngi ko sa sinabi niya.

Lumabas na ako sa guest house para doon hintayin si Carla and si Matt. Si papa and mama nauna na sa party. Habang naghihintay ako magisa sa malaking sala ng Mansion ng mga Marcos tumong ang telepono ko, pagkatingin ko sa Screen mukha agad ni Sandro at ni Sandy ang bumungad sa akin

"Hey love" i answered

"Hey, where are you? Did Matt and Carla pick you up already?" He asked..

"Otw na sila, ikaw asan ka na?" I was almost afraid to ask baka kasama niya na ang date niya

"Here already, pinasundo ko na kay Mang Richard Si Ms jenna". Medyo humina ang boses niya nung sinabi niya eto.
"Miss Jenna?" Tanung ko sakanya sino nanaman yun

"Miss Ilocos Norte" he stated.

"I love you, see you later" gumaan ang pakiramdam ko na atleast hindi siya ang sumundo,

" i love you too" he replied

Sinundo na ako ni Carla at Matt at ngpunta na kami sa Dinner party ni tita lucille. Carla and Matt looked like a real power couple ang sweet pa nila. While Im here being the third wheel. Umupo na kami sa aming respective seats.

Mayat maya ngstart na rin ang programa. Inannounce ang pagdating ni Sandro at ang date niya. Hindi ko sila matignan, oo ngseselos ako. Hinawakan lang ni Carla ang kamay ko to ease me up a bit.

Aa the party went on naktitig lang ako kay Sandro at sa partner niya na trying to hard to get his attention. I tried to  eat but nawawalan ako ng panlasa. A group of girls suddenly crowded around Sandro.
